It would have been really fun if the Littorio had HE and SAP as it’s armaments. It feels like a bit of a waste to have fun collab ships like the AL Yukikaze that has the Kagerou hull but 8km Yugumo torps, meanwhile the others are just reskinned collectibles.

Given that it was only a 13-minute episode with the title "This is Fine," I was totally expecting total catastrophic failure.

I dislike the Wargaming ideas behind this ship. The US Navy DESPISED 4-gun quad turrets. Yes, the North Carolina class were flirted about with quad 14s, but that design was scrapped early on, and NO PLANS exist for quad 16s (outside of the Tillman "Maximum" Battleship designs). The logical next step would have been the further development of the 457mm/48 caliber battery, which during testing *at the time* gave results that a standard shell from the 457s performed slightly worse than the 406mm super heavy Mk. 8 shells... leading to the temporary cancelation of the 18 inch gun. That being said, in a hypothetical situation, the Navy would have gone to 18s, not quad 16s. Quad turrets are a massive pain in the ass, and require massive amounts of armor and beam adjustments that even ignoring the Panama Canal restrictions would have been a concession the Navy would have refused to make, especially with speed being emphasized at the time. Yes, the design being 28kts would negate the true speed argument, adding width to a ship to accommodate armor for quad turrets would require length, and thus more armor, making a logistical nightmare of a ship, easily stretching to 1,000 feet, and 120-140 feet in beam, which is ludicrous for a battleship.

THIS is the zone you should not progress through until you have a solid pile of Olympium. Because it is perpetual stability, you can come back there and farm again and again and again without worrying about the zone collapsing. And there is a repair station if I'm not mistaken.

Lucky you getting the dialogue when you returned to the garage. Mine bugged and I didn't get it before I headed out to the final mission. When I was spat back to the garage after the well for freeplay mode it decided to play though. A day late and a dollar short.

The thing about 202k damage and over 3k XP on a win is, he wasn't carrying this team. He managed this in spite of working with a good sub player, and a DD who managed to survive and assault the enemy carrier, and 3 other allies who earned over 1.5k XP. That's impressive. It's much easier to score this high when you are desperately trying to carry a terrible team that either huddles in one small area of the map or charges recklessly into crossfires while trash-talking each other.

I also hated the Yumihari and i still think, that it is one of the worst BBs at Tier 8. I mean, that performance was fantastic and i also had a few good games in it (although not THAT good). The problem is, that the ship is very inconsistent. For each pretty good game you get 10 games or more where you just get wasted. The ship is very weakly armoured (not british or german battlecruiser armour standards, even worse), it's accuracy without its gimmick spotter plane is not as good as it is claimed by WG and the AP shells seem to have reduced penetration, which is not bad if you shoot against weakly armoured ships but they mostly screw if you shoot at other BBs, except from point blank at full broadside. They feel more like 305 mm rather than 410 mm guns.

The Mignty Hood is the best cruiser killer at tier 7. I know, Yumihari is T8. I just like boasting about Hood whenever I can. Her AP has weak pen which is just fine when blasting cruisers - fewer overpens more cits. Just be sure to aim for the upper belt on BBs at long range. The low pen AP is a double edged sword.

And jingles the reason why many of us IJN captain dislike the Bungo battlecruiser line is because the entire line may have large guns, but they don't share penetration values that *would* fall in line with their caliber (in fact Adatara and Bungo actually have less penetration values than their tier 9 and 10 USN counterparts that are only 16" (406mm). It's hard to Want to grind the line when if you look at their gunnery statistics; Amagi beats Yumihari, Izumo far surpasses Adatara, and Yamato runs circles around Bungo

and this shows perfectly that just because the enemy slaughtered your team it does not mean the matchmaking made any mistake. the enemy is almost just as bad, just they got lucky or some other reason, no major difference between the two sides.
