Chaos just got a real reliable piece in the Chosen Lord but its nearly 20 points more expensive then Vex so doesn't get a look in :(

Divine blessings are not an issue. 2 attacks are not broken. He can be netted, hit down as he only has 25points, and he is slow as hell. Reducing his attacks and or being able to out maneuver him is possible. Blessings are an essential part of the game for many warbands as their points dont always even out to a smooth 1000 points. As someone who runs the TTS league as well as tournaments in real life, people have specifically demanded blessings as they make list building more fun while providing the ability to strengthen weaker units to make them better. If you are having difficulty tracking divine blessings you can put a marker next to it, or write on a piece of paper who blessed them. IF people you know are cheating with them its time to find new people to play with. Typically most lists have 1-2 blessings so its not hard to track. I.E., vexmor is a obese purple demon - you will remember you blessed him with attack because 1 attack die is unusable.

@@robertviscomi8199 I think that the divine blessing system could definitely be worked on and in Vexmor's case, is a big part of why he is ubiquitous; It's an issue that GW doesn't seem to be able to release any S4 half decent shooting profile without that getting jumped on by the +1S blessing and in the case of Vexmor it seems like a pretty clear oversight when you break down it's stats even with the divine blessing attached; based on the regression testing stuff from way back, Vex is at least 90 points too cheap for his raw stats alone even with the boosted attack.

​@@OffMetaMusingsregression testing is not going to do a good job of capturing outlier profiles though, which is very much what vexmor is. Plus there are plenty of new profiles exploring unusual statline theyare going to start skewing it more and more. Blessings have space to be explored again for sure, but I really balk at all the chatter that vexmor is bad for the game in any other capacity other than it feels like it promotes ubiquity in Choas (which has been weaker than the other GA's at the top level fir a while) so the solution is to add more side grades, not flat nerd the one this that has playability

@@armoire_enthusiast7 that's true ofc regarding regression testing (and it's a little outdated nowadays with the various points updates at the top end). But I do feel that for Vex specifically you can do a point of comparison between it and a bunch of other fighters to see that the profile itself is on the cheaper side. Re. Vex being bad for the game; I feel like it is mostly just feels bad - for your opponent when the dice go 3x Crit and you murder whatever you look at, and for you when it goes the other way. In terms of decent Chaos ally, I would much rather prefer something more consistent. Personally I really like the profile on the new Chaos Chosen champion but it's unlikely to see play thanks to Vex. 100% on more sidegrades.
