Thanks for the reaction video. The mountain was in parts very steep and due to the snowfall, took us several hours to climb. Mainly filmed on the island of Tustna in middle Norway. As you see it is extremely beautiful and it is recommended to visit. However, I do not suggest to walk barefoot or without clothes on the winter storms, that is painful

The ruins under water look very much like the ones from Lygnstøylvatnet in Norway. A rock slide in 1908 caused it, flooding the old road and some houses. In clear weather you can still see the ruins from land. It's hauntingly beautiful and eerie.

You're right. I found some pictures of Lygnstøylvatnet which look like ruins in the video.

@@teddyneptunereacts0396 we also have the same types of ruins under the dam in rødberg, nore og uvdal, buskerud, norway. The dam was bouilt for the nore 1 powerplant witch was finished in 1927 when it was the biggest powerplant in northern europe. All the old houses witch layed close to the old river was abandend and left. Some years they empty the whole dam. And then you can walk down there and see some of the remains of the oldest stone bouildings in rødberg. Ive also been in several hundereds of years old stone bouildings in hardangervidda they are nameless you cant find them on any maps, only locals and random hicers know about them. Very few remember any of their names. But they are all over hardagnger vidda. The roofs have fallen down hundereds of years ago and is compleetly gone. But the thik stone walls often stand. Some times you find man made holes in the mountains. Hundered of years ago the old northmen used to trap mainly raindeers in the pits. In the pits were spears witch penetrated the unlucky raindeer in the flock. There are so many places to see and so much to tell. But its like you say. It does not beat visiting the places yourself.

I like your reactions. Interesting to watch. Thanks for this one as well! ------------------------------ Lyfjaberg is an Old Norse word that means Healing-hill or Healing-mountain. It is known from Norse mythology and from the Eddic poem Fjölsvinnsmál as a place of comfort and cure for the sick and sore. "To climb the Healing-mountain is a journey for the mind and spirit as much as the feet and body. Anything of true value, comes at a true cost. Lyfjaberg was mainly filmed in the mountains at Tustna in Norway. We shot the video in early May, when all of a sudden winter decided to return with full strength and we ended up wading in half a meter snow for three days and nights. On many levels, the process of making of this video reflected the meaning of the song itself. We all had to climb a few of our inner mountains to get it done." - from official Facebook page of Wardruna.

Being barefoot helps to "ground" a person to the earth, and is common for pagan/shamanic/seidr practicioners, especially when in nature or during ritual. When performing, especially with this sort of music, it can help with energy flow. This is one of the most enjoyable reactions I've watched, not only do you enjoy the music but you appreciate the history and culture. Kvitraven from Wardruna was just released, and I certainly hope it's on your list.

I have been waiting for this! :) No shoes: More in touch with the Earth. Also: i go into the Woods quite often. I dont have mountains near me sadly but loads of woods and lakes. I also take a lot of pictures while im there :) . I know what you mean by the desire to explore, everytime i see the Video i wanna go there and just wander around!

if you live in Norway you most likely have hiked around some beautiful places, planned trips several times a year is pretty common-place in kinder gardens, pre school and secondary school. due to the period of national romanticism in norway (mid 1800`s to late 1800`s) our nature is closely linked to our national identity. needless to say the farmers from that era and earlier was not in love with the land they barely could make a living from, but trough paintings, plays and poems our harsh and (mostly) unfertile land was transformed into a wild and beautiful land of fairy tales.

Quality video as always. One of, if not, the only reliable Norse/pagan/etc. reactor I know of. Don’t know if you’ve already covered this one or not but I have a song recommendation if you’re interested. Heilung - Traust I dont think there’s a video, no clue what it’s about, but it’s one of my favorite songs by them.

Thanks! I don't think I ever heard Traust, so I will add it to my list, but since it's audio only (and I like to make full use of the video format on YT) and because I have some more stuff on my list, it will take a while. But I defintely have the interest in reacting to "Traust".
