@@OrashiTV yeah it depletes energy for no reason. Also inconvenient when an volt or a wisp buffs you and then just to lose it when you go into operator mode.

@@johntrohn3158 I totally understand your pain, legend. It’d be a simple QoL change that’d make Umbra more viable in higher level missions. Even with Tau-forged Archon crystals buffing ability strength and armor, the sentience mechanic holds Umbra back so much. . .

He was not the first Warframe. He was a prototype to what would later become the Warframes we know now, but there were other prototypes before Umbra and attempts before Umbra.

In the quest, Ballis mentions that Umbra was going to be controlled by the "tenno devils". The tenno were not used to control warframes until later on during the first war, after failed attempts to control proto warframes etc

My favorite Warframe tbh. Remember tearing through every enemy like it's nothing and I had a heal build that worked even against 100+lvl enemies. Amazing

Yeah, the damage is great and all, but keeping Excal alive on higher levels is quite a challenge. I mean if the enemies would have been 100 levels higher, you would have dropped like domino there

Excalibur has a blind move? If he gets into a really bad situation he can just blind the enemies right? he one shots them anyways with a full potential build like this so I’m sure even if they were blinded for a couple of seconds he would demolish them with the broken stuff he has access too

So imagine a squad of umbras with this build. They each throw 2 specters down then go into transference. Counting the sentient umbra specters, that would be 4 operators and 8 umbra specters, 2 per operator. You would be invincible

and it used to be even better because marked for death had no cap meaning the enemies that caught in the explosion ended up taking more damage than the actual guy you killed to proc it. i managed to get negative damage numbers when that existed ;_;

I use Excalibur umbra all the time. High-level enemies Ill use slash dash which they can't hurt you while in this ability and using smoke screen with javelin you are a powerful beast.
