I can't recall any moment in any game I've ever played that actually made me cry, except this one. It's ironic, Sorren may have known all along, but his way with words (or lack thereof) would've left Hunhow completely in the dark. His previous actions have so much more context now. His hesitance to kill us in The Second Dream, his willingness to remain allied with Hunhow after. And let's not gloss over the parallels with Umbra. Like Umbra, Sorren, Jade, and Sirius are all first generation Warframes. They're not copies built from infested matter and blueprints. They've lived a dread long existence. Here's to the best father in the Origin System. I know the next time I see him, I'll be bringing Umbra.

I am happy Stalker, or Sorren, got to play another role and DE put a name to his hatred and dispair. The quest is well done. But idk, it felt like something was missing. It was a bit too short. Stalker went from, well, an obsessed psycho to a protective parental figure in no time. Imagine him cooing over the babe in baby tongue, but using his raspy voice. Stalker: "Where is the baby?? ... The implications of Jade are very curious - given Ordis indicates files on her are pretty much redacted, could it be a safe assumption that Ballas knowingly took her while she was pregnant? Perhaps in some perverse way to perfect the Warframe process - not with existing minds and soldiers but with new life, able to more adapt to radical change just as the Tenno did to the void? I get the feeling the child might play a far greater role down the road than we have yet to comprehend...

So, as far as I understand, both Stalker(who will I refer to as Sorren from now on) and Jade were guardians. It is very likely that attachments and intimate relationships were prohibited due to their rank/position. Of course such is the nature of man, that Sorren and Jade fell in love and did the deed. The thing is that Sorren was devoted and loyal to the orokin and his way of life. Now, it might be just me, but in 26:57 Sorren's manner with which he says "If the lords found out" has a very strict tone and shows respect to the lords. It didn't just show concern for his lover and his child, but also he seemed concerned about betraying the rules he abided by. I think he was worried of disappointing his orokin masters, not because of the consequences, but like a son who's afraid of disappointing his father. Though it's not known under which circumstances Jade was turned into a warframe, Sorren most definitely volunteered. A way perhaps to better protect both his woman and unborn child and his masters, due to the encroaching Sentient threat. Both Jade and Sorren were present at the ceremony in which the orokin were turned into red mist. Sorren probably tried to fight the tenno off and he would've joined his beloved masters if Jade, his lover, did not protect him. It is needless to say at this point that Jade and Sorren are not Tenno, but autonomous warframes. There are still questions remaining. Like did Sorren felt guild for failing to protect the orokin? Or was it something else? Maybe it was his fault Jade was turned into a warframe, who knows. Also the aforementioned events took place probably centuries in the past. How long was Jade in the state she was? Was she laying there for like 1000 years? And how did Sorren maintain his self all this time?

I absolutely love this quest, just for the theme and the music.

I love this goddamn game so much. And under Rebb's stewardship, it's gotten so much better than anyone could have ever imagined. Not just in terms of the quests, but this entire update that addresses things even as minor-seeming as version numbers on the client instead now using dates, or making the UI text scale with resolution, etc Steve is an awesome person and no shade to him, but organizing and coordination wasn't ever his strong suit-having Rebb take over was the best thing DE ever did. Even freaking _Shy_ is looking into possibly getting back into Warframe. 😂

Food for thought regarding the frame-child’s name being not so simple of a choice as in honoring the mother or father … Yes, Orion is the constellation the Hunter but is also the home to one of the largest stellar nurseries known to modern astronomy, holding the famous Pillars of Creation - massive collections of cold neutral hydrogen that constitute the building material for new stellar systems (star/s and planets) through the creation of EGGs - evaporating gaseous globules - that are enriched with essential heavy elements produced by supernovae within the molecular cloud. So yeah, the Stalker runs a cosmic day care … serving as a seahorse daddy.

Some are uncomfortable with Jade "still being pregnant" after construction. With a pregnant "woman" going guns blazing in the battlefield (a cyborg-mutant with enhanced exoskeleton, muscles, etc is still very powerful despite being in a "vulnerable state"). But I don't think it's the case: yes, the big green orb vanishes from her belly after the baby is born? Synthesized? But the green orbs are her motiff present in the flying "eyes" and the signa too; it's more like the genetic information of the baby was stored in the orb and modified by the technocyte and then he was synthesized from it consuming it (one person considered even that this is not the same baby, the original one was aborted during "warframization" and trough some outstanding desire/grief to bear the life that not was during centuries/milenia Jade produced a parthenogenetic offspring). Not that the orb is the baby itself, since the foundry recreate the dna from samples the baby dna is not present in the player's Jade. The more of a question to me is, since umbra was destroyed by Natah, remade in the foundry, and still had his consciousness...what about Jade? She would recognize the Stalker? Wanting to be with him? (In a lore sense of course, gameplay-wise DE would not make Jade bail us out xD).

If parvos granum knows of ordin, maybe he knows of sorren. I wonder if they were changed to warframes after the tenno uprising or because of their transgression as a punishment. Im guessing it was against their will. Juicy lore right here

This quest was absolutely beautiful. First the Cavia Rank Up cutscenes and now this? I'm loving the more emotional direction they are taking these updates. Just dont let that emotion come into contact with the Void...

I have a very dumb theory that I don’t know if anyone’s gonna see us, but I wanted to ask you anyways what kind of health conditions go over from a person to a frame and I think I know what happens when a person becomes a frame . all that really changes is their body for sale like Jay in the new Jay shadow quest her child is probably going to be a biological warfare by birth, but also, I think I know why certain warfare since certain level of consciousness alongside my idea of the man, the wall puppies, some of them, their bodies, their minds are essentially kind of off to them. It’s like being more in the days or the week collective unconsciousness where some frames like the stocker , jade and this would even imply rhino prime , excalibur u , and even Dante or any frame working on the room and technically be that frames if they were a person before hand and their power of will, I would compare to someone say being in a calm and losing the function of their arms and no legs having to go to therapy if you have a strong power will it’s much easier than not having that willpower and trying to move and may be twice our frames don’t because perhaps there’s synthetically grown within our ship instead of going out and turning people into the frames themselves which would allow a man to fall to not just with them, but control them if he needed to because he said the video of the infestation doesn’t seem to like the void of the man in the wall so there’s a good chance he can manipulate them like that. Also, I’d like to pause the idea of that, not all frames were met for combat and you know, depending on how the tenno did in the field or what they individually as children were probably better at or probably different things or different frames to do different jobs depending on how good they were certain ones like I can see someone being given a frame because secondhand comment underwater combat, underwater exploration is something that or someone not being able to do like research or fieldwork or archaeology so instead they hand them and Excalibur because they’re great in combat and that it may have been more than or test you were able to do the more frames you were able to acquire the orbiter has storage capacity that we can upgrade so it probably meant the tenno probably could have multiple frames but they were probably starting out only given us select you. So for the baby in what way it happens only while the person is pregnant and then turned into a warframe or just warframes can breed and both cases is the baby is going to come out the same or ist dependent on which warframe or person his giving birth or the father or both affects the look of the baby maybe the baby has powers and its affected by the warframe the ending text proved that point

I chose the name Orion because it makes sense given the Greek origins of the namesake, a cluster being named after it and honestly I feel like Stalker may raise him to hunt and this would be in line with name and the stalker but I feel like the namesake Orion will try to save instead of destroying. There may even be an innate bond to the Tenno in the baby due to our part played in its birth of course.

I think everybody has been overlooking the aspect that the Void keys symbolizes, The Great Ankh which represents The Eternal Key of Life... Even down to Albert Entrati having that golden ring on his thumb, The Necklace, at times Ballas with the clothing he has worn, That isn't even getting into the fact that the Orokin society seems to Have a very similar story to the Anunnaki. You know it's never been exactly made clear if the orokin are really from earth or not but just assumed, for all we know the orokin my not exactly have a roman Ideology entirely. Look we still don't know all the information about the warframes that Ballas intended to give to Hunhow specifically but for some strange reason never did, idk why everybody has overlooked it, Hunhow only found out that Lua was in the void by the memories within lotus, also the gap between the the slaughter of the orokin Empire and the time lotus telported Lua to the void. From Ballas's perspective, the tenno children were already stored within the void during the war. So Did lotus Move the star children into pods within the moon from a different orokin tower within the void? Even in the new war quest where it shows era, Lua was shown falling apart into pieces, even with umbra we still don't know the timeline of when Ballas forced umbra to kill his son let alone Umbra's name as a dax Who held a very high position within the loyal guards let alone If teshin Knows sorren or umbra. The possibilities that DE has left makes it seem like stalker and jade may not be the only ones who have a child born naturally as a warframe let alone that entrati is the only mad scientist involved. Even with prime warframes, what part of the helminth alters the human being to blossoms in golden blades, is the gold to represent the higher class being royalty of the orokin? What connection does Jade have to the Seven and golden Lords most especially? Because they reference the golden lords to Be a group different entirely from the seven aswell those like Ballas. From how many refer to golden lords it implies there are lords above the seven in the Orokin Empire, more than one leader. Also its not exactly clear if The Lover of Ballas is dead and Natah is Not some Mixed race of the human body and a sentient Mimic Queen like ballas was in the new war. It was clearly depicted that a painless death from the jade light did not happen and if we know anything very well about the orokin on how they'll turn Traitors into servants by force facing a fate worse than death, for all we know margulis may have her soul Trapped within Natah and thats why all those wires were connected to the helmet of the lotus kind of like how ordis is apart of the ship and a necroloid or potentially might be a proto frame in Warframe 1999 that ballas was forced to do by the Seven after all he said we took volunteers or not. Again the timline of the infestation is not that far off from her judgment from the seven, ballas said the lotus was margulis imprisoned here "implying Lua" just like she was and we still don't know how many strands of the infestation exist from experimentation that the orokin did to get the warframes to exist in the present.

Absolutely loved the quest, but the rewards are quite disappointing. Not getting the Stalker's helmet as a reward is just wasted potential even though this update is quite literally a Stalker update with a stalker quest.

Yeah I can't say this was too much of a surprise. I mean we've known since Excalibur umbra how ballas went about making warframes. Looks like this particular strain of infested technovirus adapted and found a new way to reproduce based on the original anatomy of the host organism. All that being said this is the bare bones of a story not an actual story..... My questions have less to do with the how of the baby which is largely self-explanatory, and more about the actual people involved and what the heck Jade was supposed to have been doing for all these years before she just popped up, saved stalker, and gave him the baby.. for that matter how many more non tenno warframes are running around independently out there? And if the warframes have their unusual powers because of the void energy the tenno brought to the equation how does that apply to the non-tenno warframes who are apparently just as powerful? I know the company responsible for Warframe is busy making soul frame...... But hopefully they'll finally get off their butts and properly license this out to other storytelling media to fill in some of the blanks here. Cyberpunk:edge runners was largely responsible. For promoting and saving its parent computer game..... I find it difficult to believe that the folks that make Warframe couldn't find someone to do something similar for them.
