Not exactly a secret, but when demos dropped, grandmother had something very special that i gave up trying to get back in 2020, but after being asked why i don't have it, i had to do it.
Thanks to Andre for giving me the kick i needed to actually pick this thing up after not dropping it for so long.

The infestation is called a "techno-organic" virus, meaning is both machine and biological, so being able to infest machines made perfect sense.

But the technocyte is way more leaned to the organic side of things, it really struggled to absorb machinery until Alad V created the mutalyst strain (it is said in-game, I think it is in ordis fragments, patient zero questline, etc). What DE kinda let escape this "continuity" is that the fish on the cambrion drift are stages of orokin machine drones being corrupted, so prior to the mutalyst strain.

@@ML7WL The mutalist strain was kind of retcon, we already had infested osprey and infested weapons like the torid (infested ogris) prior to its introduction. And timeline wise is a mess, considering you can fight infested moas and ospreys long before you ever meet Alad V in lore.

I forgot about that lol. Let's face it, K-drives are pretty useless. I mean they can be handy but as soon as you get an arkwing then k-dives just collect dust.

Welcome to the Feverspine group; the Deimos races were just for the board. I think Waverider did a good job with being a K-Drive Tutorial, including moves that help to make the races a little more manageable.

These never really bothered me when I tried to do the races, the hardest part of it all was waiting each day for the other races that give the other parts to appear and become available... And I only did it for the Mastery fodder to become Legendary Rank 2. By the way, yes there are other Infested K-Drive parts too, and they all snap into place onto Feverspine to create the full Infested board, OriginalWickedFun only used Feverspine but he still gets full mastery from it for ranking it to 30.

In the beginning engines were splitting from desk and nose, when player was jumping and making tricks (engines were in default position). It was looking really cool, but after some time DE said it's bug, not feature and they fixed it...

I still think k-drives should be made into weapons just with the added ability to ride them. They could turn into a wrist mounted primary/ secondary or maybe turn into different types of melee weapons depending on the parts. That way you can bring them into missions and people still use them. There’s a ton of hoverboards turning into weapons and vice versa in sci if media so there’s no lack of inspiration but I’d get that would probably be difficult to rework considering that was never the purpose for these.

Do the bounties, i think they give more affinity when leveling the k-drives, (races give more standing thats guaranteed)

If that pop up happens only when in captura? Them it's something you have checked off in captura like depth of field (dof) or something. Maybe just unchecking or toggling settings in the captura menu will solve it for sure.

like in how we can make our own obstacles courses in the dojo we should be able to make kdrive race tracks for dojo too.

I'm still using the free kdrive you get at the start. Just have no interest in it. We should have a MIGHTY SEER kdrive decal

3:35 that was my general impression after using them for 30 seconds not a fan of k-drived, their control system is too weird and floaty, yet so much slower (and mod reliant) than archwing.

An easy way to get past the part at 3:00 is go into archwing first, fly over the time gate and then go into kdrive again. You should land on the gate while on your drive. Then quickly go back to archwing and then fly to the next gate.

I Cant actually get the 3 parts apart from the feverspine board. First time I did the races it said I got the parts but they’re not in my inventory or foundry. I only did the races like 2 days ago, too.

I went and got all the parts for the board like a few weeks ago. It just took me a few days so all the races were in. And the grind part over the cavern sucked

Still kinda mad you cant "tranq a velocipod, while riding a velocipod" because the tranq gun is a rifle. I can swing a heavy blade or hammer with one hand while holding something, but not a rifle? I dunno, it just seems like a missed opportunity.

😀 If we could Race Player's in specially made mostly flat maps, I think kdrive would be more popular.. Especially if the pace was as fast as the Magnus Drive arcane makes you.. And if they added in our speedsters just for funzzies.. xD

catch some Lobostriscid (which is easy) then fillet them at Daughter, u'll get parasitic tethermaw.

I have this K-Drive I spend hours grinding for that board when that race showed up. But by some dumb luck on the part that wanted me to grind I manged to do it without grinding on the rail. Don't know what I did but I manged to charge jump right through the orb on the rail to the other side. The other 3 parts are way easier to get though as they don't ask you to grind on a raid over a pit near the end of the race to get the parts.

Start the race , get on the ARCHWING, not the kdrive and directly go to the last check point.. it counts as a win and you get the part..

You think that's pain? How about 23-24 fps with extremely low graphics quality player that grind kdrive standings and parts in open world, thank god im done with it
