Conclave disagreements are nothing new in the Imperium. However, in some cases those disagreements go too far. After four years of heavy fighting against Chaos cultists, a guard regiment and two inquisitors, their retinue reduced to a couple of cooks and a choir servitor, were on their way to a shore leave. However, Administratum had better ideas of their final destination, not without an aid of an opponent of said inquisitors. With a swipe of a pen by a humble scribe, the guardsmen were sent into volcanic hellhole infested by the tyranids instead of a tropical paradise world known for the delicious crustaceans inhabiting it. But one way or another, guards will have their dish, or serve as one.

At least it seemed like everyone had a fun time. Tenso getting hit by that ball of plasma was hilarious, and it seemed like he wasn't mad at such a beautiful shot either xd

@@517342 The Megabolter one (Stormlord??) gets some love now and then, but given how op the Stormblade is it's pretty much a guaranteed pick 90% of the time

Well it didn't change the outcome but I'm glad the 'nids didn't concede when they were discussing it halfway through, 'cause that ended up being a great match! I just wish I could've seen what happened to Ghaz at around 24:10 :P

Carnifex clearly can kill stormlords 1v1, which we can see happen near the end, so I maybe they arent overpowered. But maybe need some tuning.

I thought the Stormblade overcharged no longer disable their gun for a minute, but it just seem like they had recovered very quickly - wow, guess they are a viable option now. I am glad that they are getting some love where most people will just go for Stormlord or the regular Babeblade

It's sad to see the nids broken so badly by mere humans, but the guard and Eldar are really strong this year. The only way they could have won was by preemptively getting AV warrior brood. Because once the banewolfs were on scene it was too late, losing that power that quickly was game over. Still good attempt and lessons learned. If your a nid and your facing an inquistor, get AV first then control.

The nids had total advantage up to that point too. To be fair, banewolves rarely are handled well so there might have been an assumption that they'd get easily quick countered by drop in venoms from the lictor

Don't start with balance again. This was absolutely about the players performances! Nids had their huge uptime and are incredibly dangerous in any match up.

Is stormblade better than stormlord in this situation? Feels like stormlord is better, especially against tyranids, and can reinforce guardsmen.

With what those nids had, with the extreme blobbing multitudes, Stormblade is definitely better. Just look at that giant AoE. Stormlord is better against fewer, harder targets, since it has massive DPS, but only single target. Look at 22:08 and you'll know why the Stormblade was the clear choice here. Wrecked Tensos entire Army in a single blast.

Picked IG from the start, but should have been a much easier win for them tbh. Spotters, Cats and Manti's would have utterly wrecked the nids much sooner. Heck, Rutank was a new IG player and still they held thier own vs exp players. IG needs to be toned down. The race with the tankiest tanks in the game get repair bunkers on top - ridiculous. Stormblade, Stormlord are just nutz with their bonkers damage too.

The bane wolves rushing early gen farms for nearly half the match is what sealed this match. Nids only got out carnifexes towards the literal end of the game while IG had 2 stormblades moving around.
