I already spent over 200 hours and finished the game and I have to say while it wasn't a bad experience it was definitely inferior to Pathfinder wrath of the righteous, mainly due to the amount of bugs that can either force you to fail certain quests or add a narrative that doesn't make any sense based on your previous choices. I hope the next titles or expansions aren't as rushed as this game , it definitely felt like it wasn't ready for release.

it is general behaviour these days, produce quickly and releasy early (: at last they are fast with patches and u know they care about their games, most of the time but i woudnt buy a game on release these days anymore to be honest

You can do melee sword builds in Rogue Trader- and the flexibility in such a build is pretty open too, perks wise as you level. ;)

Did you ask haemunculus to let you have him? I just completed full playthrough and I got him no problem. Except he is pretty useless IMO since he can't use most of the weapons

Always better to release a game mostly bug free, than getting the negative feedback full blast everywhere, Cyberpunk ought to have been a cautionary tale regarding that. Still, Rogue Trader is an amazing game with great attention to all core parts of it, the amount of effort that went into writing it, adapting the mechanics, and making the rest far surpasses anything that AAA studios produce these days (we should call them FFF by all rights). Try comparing this to something like Diablo IV. It’s like comparing a fine crafted (though admittedly buggy) swiss watch to a 5$ chinese one. It’s a joke. I’m glad there still are studios that see their profit margins in quality instead of nostalgia, brand recognition and manipulative monetization.

Except it is literally the items that you got for Pre-Ordering the game, now available for free after release for a limited time instead of having to pay extra.

@@Frozenkoldfury so let's assume that releasing in financially worst month of the year was a mistake that needing to wait for steam price till release was really bad and now they want' to fix that by giving people additional chance to get those items first reviews are out and most people will wait for bug fixes (and inclusion of orcs and additional forms of player origins (like tech priest or unsanctioned psyker or one of many forms of law enforcement)) even if there are best intentions behind it ... making it time limited makes it look like typical corruption and was a huge mistake so if they want to make it available post release then they should have 1. release it half year after release as a special pack of all items from all editions (paid would be acceptable) 2. add it for free to every complete edition (base game with all expansions that were either purchased as one pack or separately over time) now it does not matter if it's good intention or push from ip holder because it looks like cheap greedy tactic

@@fantazjoI would look at it more like a 'thank you for supporting us early on', more than FOMO. Its two little items that will not make or break gameplay/experience, in a single player game. I also highly doubt anyone on the fence about getting it now, vs 6 months down the road, are going to nab the game up just for these two little items. If they do, they may need to evaluate theur own shopping habits at large rather than blaim a company for two little 'thank you' pixel clusters. You are putting way too much emotion and thought behind this, lol.

Dude this dlc has been out since launch. If you want to (rightfully) complain about the unfinished buggy mess of a game they released, try to get your information right before you make a fool of yourself. They're just using FOMO to nab a few extra sales.

This is not a good marketing strategy. The Codex Astartes does not support this action. This "promotion" is only a week long. It will do more damage to your reputation than drive sales

Maybe it is more of a 'thank you for supporting us early on', than it is a tactic to drive up sales. I highly doubt any logical human is going to rush out and buy the game just over two little pixel clusters. Key word: logical. If you have such an issue with FOMO this causes you to part with money you are holding for any other reason, then you have a bigger issue than this being FOMO.
