Which I still am disappointed by. We have a large trader dynasty, but can't afford to get at least a cruiser? Especially after all of the years Valancius has been around no less. We should be able to buy or work favors with the navy to get one or else get the Mechanicus' blessing for one.

Not that giant, I mean, the ship of a rogue trader is commonly not much bigger than four to six kilometers long and a quarter of a kilometer in width and height...😉 with around ten to thirty thousand inhabitants, of which maybe a third is formal crew dynasties.

@SonsOfLorgar the sword class is 1.6 km long with a crew of approximately 26k. The aircraft carriers of the us navy have at most 6k crew in a ship that's 333ish meters long. It's most definitely a city man

@@barryward2128 30k population isn't a 'city' even by the measure of modern Earth. That barely qualifies as a town. And frankly, with the number of armed military servicemen on board, there shouldn't be all that much option for cults larger than a dozen people to operate. I could understand it if this was one of the bigger Imperial warships, but not a mere Frigate. Frankly Rogue Traders should be piloting larger class of ships, given that they need a ship that can operate semi-independently of the larger Imperium. Frigates are placed in the escort role for a reason.

@tgres287 dude whatever modern day aircraft carriers are called floating cities and they have no where near a cities population on them. Secondly a genestealer cult in its early stages could easily hide in a frigate especially considering most of the crew on an imperial ship aren't anything approaching military.

I have to be honest, when I heard the dlc was on the ship only, I was like Meh.. However after seeing the trailer , I'm so in for this. Thanks Owlcat for making an excellent lore friendly 40k rpg.

To be fair the ships are measured in kilometers in pure length alone. The crew alone is counted in tens of thousands and that's not including the people living on the ships. There's a lot of potential in storyline set entirely on a voidship.

She is undoubtedly part of a Sanguinary cult, those cults are always on the verge of falling into Khorne's embrace. From a roleplay perspective it is the best option as it is one of the types of cults that can lean either way instead of being purely imperial or purely heretical.

I'm guessing she could be turned to Khorne if the Rogue Trader goes heretical. There aren't many good companions if you go full heresy. In the canon cults like this are often faithful to the emperor but there is a high chance of it sliding into chaos worship.

No, this is the cults that the Adeptus Assassinorum recruits from.

@@SonsOfLorgar Nah, the Assasinorum recruits primarily from the Schola Progenium (or directly from the black ships in the case of the Culexus.) They are far, far, far above Death cult Assassins in terms of training, augmentation, equipment and general Imperial legitimacy. Death cults are basically just very violent religious sects of the Imperial creed who often has to hide to not be considered outright heretics. (Though the protection of an Inquisitor, or in this case a Rogue trader obviously alleviates that.)

Я в принципе будто не играю, а в игровой форме изучаю вселенную! На таком движке как вы сделали, можно создавать и создавать, новые интересные игры по Warhammer посвященные разным аспектам лора и играть от лица различных героев, рас и погружаться в новые и новые глубины вселенной. Буквально, хоть бери любую книжку по вахе и делай игру)) главное, чтобы она стремилась к такой же продумке как и Вольный Торговец! Ещё раз спасибо!

On one hand, this lady and her group have give off so many red flags that they seem to make clothes out of them. On the other hand, our normal security staff is so incompetent that nobody noticed a death cult or Genestealer invasion on our flagship. So, yeah, welcome aboard. We clearly need the help around here.
