These guys get a lot of attention in Steve Parkers Deathwatch writings. A librarian runs one of the kill teams. They also pair him up with an Exorcist. Awkwardness ensues

Working theory... Their chapter masters throne serves as a psychic amplifier, and acts as a beacon in the time stream, much as the golden throne acts as a beacon in space.... And since both artifacts are of unknown and presumably zenos origins, this makes some sense....

Oddly, I'd not encountered any mention of the 13th Founding until now...so thanks for the enlightenment. Moreover, I agree...the unique nature of their Chapter Master's fate upon assumption of office takes this Chapter to an entirely different level. And while I didn't vote for this particular group (nor their very close competitor)... I'm actually glad my choice wasn't covered (for now). Looking forward to the "rest of the story"....thanks and Cheers!

can GW please make scythe pauldrons for the death spector and the emperor's scythes or at least transfer sheets so that we don't have to freehand anymore
