@Lenia N. Ldzn I think it's mostly due to staying loyal to the older fluff. Some time ago they renamed a bunch of stuff out of the blue for no real reason. Eldar became Aeldari, Dark Eldar became Drukhari, Imperial Guard became Astra Militarum, and probably a bunch of other things I'm not aware of.

So this kabal and the kabal that John Grammaticus in was different ? I always confused.

They are very different things. Also, the dark eldar one is Kabal and the other one is cabal. The Dark Eldar version serves as just another word for clan, tribe, caste, etc. It is just a noun as in "a" Kabal. The one that played a major part in the Horus Heresy, was more like the name of the organization itself, as in THE Cabal. Similar stuff in that context are things like the Illuminati, The Men in Black, etc.
