I made the BEST mountains, hills and rocky outcrops for my Warhammer tabletop wargames! These would be perfect for Warahmmer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Warhammer the Old World, Middle Earth SBG, D&D and any other roleplaying games! Using files from the Stone Trove Kickstarter I made some of the best looking rockforms available.
Make sure you check out the Stone Trove Kickstarter HERE: www.kickstarter.com/projects/...

Go and check out the Kickstarter NOW! www.kickstarter.com/projects/stonetrove/stone-trove *Also, slight addendum… All of the pieces I printed didn’t need any supports but some of the pieces in the pack do.

That’s some really stunning terrain.Need to check if there’s a late pledge. Just two questions: did you consider sanding the printed stones partially before painting? I did that on the terrain from Danny’s Lost Adventure KS and just a little bit sanding helped a lot (printed with 0.1mm layer height) Did you skipped a dry brush only for time reasons? Thought on edgy terrain like this, that would be a nobrainer.

These look amazing. Quick question on the spraying, in the video you go over using the Standard Grey spray, followed up with a highlight (in places) of the Wight Bone then washing. But you also show the Ghoul Grey spray can in the visuals but you don't mention it. Did you actually end up using the Ghoul Grey at all?
@BenjisHobbies
@BenjisHobbies Жыл бұрын
Thanks you! I tried it on a few patches here and there to add a bit of variety but the reason I didn’t mention it was because I don’t think it really added much. The contrast between the Standard Grey and the Wight Bone gave a much better finish.

Thanks for this video. Did you print using PLA ? I had some warping problems in the past after priming some of my PLA prints with Citadel spray can paint, so I was quite surprised to see you paint all these with spray can without any issue. I might give it another shot, this time using the same paint as you.

that, & despite the statement towards the start of the video, rocky terrain is literally the MOST common terrain people make, since it's dead easy. Mind, this is pretty rock terrain, but FFS you can literally find several hundred tutorials on YT telling you how to make rocks out of XPS foam, in addition to other materials.
