I got to play Warhammer right from the beginning and totally loved it despite the flaws (what MMO doesn't have them). I was devastated when the game was cancelled. So hyped to see fans have brought it back. Downloading it now and looking forward to get back into this fantastic game.

When this was out originally, I could only read about it in the PC gaming magazine I used to buy at the corner store with my grandparents' money... But playing something "ON-THE-LINE????!!!" and to top it all even paying for it was an absolute no-go as far as my mother was concerned. So I just sat there and thought about the experiences one could have in such a world... playing with and against thousands of other people... Gaming was different back then. Glad I can now relive what I missed. This game I never forgot about. And by the way, I jumped in yesterday and was really confused as it's kind of different from classic PvE focused MMORPGs in multiple ways. That's why I'm here now watching this and it's incredibly helpful

Just a notice to any new players -- he may have missed an opportunity to loot a better option out of that loot bag by not continuing to scroll through it. There may have been a gold/purple quality item in there. So remember to look through the ENTIRE bag before selecting one of the items, they are not listed in order by rarity.

I was a guild master of one of the top PvP guilds in Dark Age of Camelot but that was a very, very long time ago and I've had my neck broken so i have some hand problems. I've join the Warhammer server but I quickly found out im not as good as I once was and now im fighting to over come health problem to enjoy the type of game I love. Right now I have a level 25 Magus and a level 14 Shaman and also a level 10 Disciple and I've loving all three but can't decide on Shaman or Magus. I'm hoping to soon make some friends and really get into playing. Was laid off from job and stuff is bad around here with corona so I've locked myself in the Den to play Warhammer RoR all day every day until real life comes back. Thanks for your videos they have really helped me a lot.

Last time I played no one was playing during pst hours, I saw maybe 4 people. If you aren't in eu hours you won't see people. I wouldn't say that's "active".

Really nice presentation, the game is awesome, everybody is polite, GM´s are always watching, working and helping. Think the best way to help them is by downloading and spreading the word. They are always working and looking for way to improve it. Remember Free to PLAY.

I remember that i skipped almost half of my final year in school (I passed anyway) just to play his game. I took the train to our electronic store right the morning when it was released but I was heavily invested in lord of the rings back in the day and since my guild diddnt follow me I returned back to it. Now, that I play it again, I have to say that this is one, if not the, best mmos Ive ever played and its sad af that it diddnt make it to being a big deal.

I have 4 lvl 40's on both sides, I find the Dev's do a real great job of updating the game and balancing the classes. Some classes are a bit stronger than others, but this makes the game diverse and is more of a chess game to see who will play what to counter the other team. The only challenge this game has is that one side usually has a zerg (more players online) and this is actually needed if you want to complete any of the content that gains you better gear. Ranking up is really fun and crafting is very meaningful with powerful potions and talismans.

This game had issues at launch. There was no PvE end game, it was almost entirely PvP. PvP was flawed and almost always devolved into two "firing lines", with anyone stepping too close to the other line getting nuked by range. The devs had announced that they were going to have 6 capital cities but it was descoped to be just 2. It's really too bad because this game had a lot more potential than WoW but most people didn't want to wait for Warhammer to fix their problems when they could go queue up in WoW group finder and instantly get into a raid.

Thanks very much for the video. I was gutted when they closed the servers years ago. It was only by chance I saw something pop up on Facebook a few weeks back where I commented how much I missed the game and someone told me it had been resurrected!! I’m a total noob now. I’d forgotten just about everything. This video helped with the auto selection on loot drops! That was getting really annoying trying to battle and decide on need, greed etc. I’m still a bit unsure on crafting. Talisman making & scav as im playing a Zealot. I understand how to scavenge but finding all the parts to create a decent talisman is challenging. Oh and the tome slot next to the abilities? Still haven’t worked that out yet?

If you're entirely new, PLEASE READ THE SCENARIOS BEFORE YOU JOIN THEM so you don't get unnecessary loses. Like if you join a Blackfire Basin, don't capture the flag if you don't know where to take it.

Get to do the same PVP content for 64 levels - except for 4 Dungeons. -If you like grinding you'll love this game.

Man... the fact that this video is so technical makes me remember why I LOVED this game. One of the only MMOs that still had the RPG parts, in earnest. (Computer RPG, character customization, not actual role playing. Although that too, I spoke more in "ork" than I ever have in any other game!) Until another game lets me attach little trinkets to spots on my armor, WAR will be my favorite MMO of all time. I still wear my WAAAGH! and WAR Logo shifts all the time at home, holes and all. Literally the only game I've ever bought the collector's edition for. I just read the Warhammer Online comics by Dark Horse Comics just last month too. MAN I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS DOWNLOAD TO FINISH.

Warhammer!!! The only franchise that keeps the lore clear. Even dungeons and dragons and wow have messed up with races and classes. Yeah I'm looking at you Drizzt Do Urden and Thrall. Tho everything they make is too damn expensive even on android. A big thank you to the guys that has the server and to you for the cool and easy to understand video.

Bruh, you didnt scroll down when opening your loot bag from the pub quest, when you get a purple or gold sack scroll down and you will find a purple or gold item depending on the color.

Bit of a shame its in the EU, spent yesterday getting it all set up and downloaded to log in and feel like I had an enormous amount of ping. I'm from Australia and I can handle NA lag but EU giving upwards of 350ms is too much.

Unfortunately, this private server inherited the same issues which destroyed original WO: AoR - terrible imbalance between different classes of the same archetype on either side. There is basically close to zero reasons to pick AM over WP healer for competitive gameplay or go with SM over KoBS for playing tank. The same true for Destro side - Shaman is rather liability for a competitive party than an asset and picking a BG tank over Chosen is a direct path to respawn button.

Did anyone figure out how to stop the game from crashing in RvR? I can't enter scenarios and if I dared to wonder outside of Altdorf the game crashes. The game used to work fine for me btw, I have 2 rank 40s and a bunch of other lowbies.

Hey i have issues about texts on "the Warhammer World Map" dont appear such as Empire vs Chaos and cant turn off Campaign Tracker. Is it about my corrupted files i've downloaded the game few months ago.

Isnt tracker an add on? You just disable or remove it from the add on folder. Otherwise the tracker can be moved in layout editor.

I started at launch back in 2008, played for a few yrs. left the game for other games, actually went to play Rift for a bunch of yrs. cause i was interested in PvE raiding. I learned that WH was back and free to play, I installed it immediately, It's good to be back, having a blast !! getting my WAAAAARGH!!! back on ya little Gits

We have black desert, blade and soul and many more amazing visually great games, but i was bored by all of them. Warhammer looks so old, but so cool and fun, I kinda felt for first time what it means to be part of mmorpg (never fanatically played WOW). Currently the server is designed for lv 40 ppl, because the devs counted stable old player base 500-700 max population therefore the T2-T4 rvr zones are merged. This sucks of course for new players because we have no chance to try these zones, because of the constant zerg of 1500+ population from each side. Newbies have to be patient and do some pve to gain levels from lv 16- lv 35 then things get better.

Still bogs down when there’s lots of action happening at a keep. Unsure if that’s the server, GPU or CPU though. 3950X with a Radeon VII makes me think it’s not my hardware but I could be wrong.

I can't recommend this game enough !! WH online is a AWESOME free to play game. Good community, players everywhere. Quests are good and the Enemy npc's will give you a challenge, which is great. The game is retro but still looks beautiful and the gear you obtain is really great looking. So it all means I'm hooked....and so can you !! Download it now!! For the Order !!

@@dumahssbeech9114 hey Alex....so does the good guys on basically all other mmo's we live in a different and weird time bro. Lots of people love playing the edgy (EVIL) side. Heck even people that play on the good side make names and guilds that are just plain dark themed. I scratch my head in all honesty, LOL. I guess people don't know a difference. But all that aside yea people like playing the evil side more than the good. Reason for the overwhelming disparity in PVP. Me I always play the good side ,looks better and beautiful....not ugly ,dark like the other sides. Plus I can hack taking a butt whipping from the other side ...just makes me better with the challenge. You solo a bad guy they crumble fast cause they get it so easy for all the carries. 👍👋

WoW has come to a point where world pvp is dead even if you see a enemy player no one bothers to fight.But in Warhammer the constant world pvp makes you bloodthirsty all the time and its awsome !

@@markongchangco1537 Hi during low peaks around 300-1K. and on high peaks tis like 2.5-3K ( the server cap is 3.5K )

@@willehwl5465 I wasn't expecting much from a private server, but man is the lag horrible. It was ok at the starting zone, but by the time I reached the big saw and doing quests in the mine I was skipping animations.

Scenario are rough with out premade, but the warband list provides an option for all game modes.

Won't play until there is US servers. Nothing feels more wrong than to play this game with 240 ping on a 3600$ built PC.

Bro really whats so complicated? You create account, you verify email if needed, you download game via torrent, you uncheck the read only in the folder which the game is in, you right click the RORlauncher and set run as administrator option and you re done. In case you miss any dll file you can manually download it from google and throw it in the game folder (not the zip but the .dll file)

Private Server, where the worse people ever, were made GMs and do whatever they like. One server that is almost dead with less than 200 players already and most of them are GMs playing as players. The original Age of Reckoning was a great game , and many people loved it. 9+ years later, RoR is a dead game only for a small group of people, where scenarios are only with premade parties and RvR is only Pugs. But the worse.... their GMs,

There are things like reshade that improve the look. Also if you have an Nvidia card you can force antialiasing and texture filtering.

I was this close to downloading and then you showed gender-locked classes. I'm totally fine with racial locking for lore purposes, but gender-locking, for any reason, is a deal killer for me.
