Catachans came out in like 2000. The 94 ones were metal, these came out during 3rd.

I don’t think any army needs more love than the emperors children. Lucius was just removed from the GW web store and noise marines are stuck with a very expensive, Ill-fitting and bad looking upgrade sprue to be put on obviously chaos undivided bodies

We need an Emperor's Children refresh! We got Thousand Sons,Death Guard and now World Eaters. Emperor's Children are begging for it!

I think we need a lot more options for the Guard tbh, not just catachan. Its meant to be an empire of a million worlds, yet increasingly the guard seems to be entirely comprised of Cadians (a world that was blown up). Would be cool to see a variety of completely different model options, that could be painted to represent a multitude of different worlds (Valhallan, Talaran, Mordian etc).

I think we'll get some Dark Eldar updates at some point soon. They're one of the older xenos ranges, and while the plastic models they do have all look great and have held up really well, it seems like they have really limited model options. Updating the whole Beastmaster aspect, the Court of the Archon, the Mandrakes, and hopefully giving each of the subtypes a second generic HQ each would be welcome. Bring back some of the old named characters, too.

I’m surprised he didn’t mention the Tyranid models. They still have resin models and some of the plastic ones are still goofy.

As a Necron player who bought The Nightbringer last year,I can confirm that it's really fun on tabletop but oh my god working with finecast made me want to cry...

I think they'll drip feed the remaining aspect warriors a shrine at a time + respective phoenix lords sadly. Maybe alongside something completely new like they did with the latest Craftworld wave being a mix of old refreshes and new units. Hopefully sometime within the next year we'll see the next batch?

While their models at good, I'd love some new harlequins. They've not had a new model for almost 8 years now and the range is so small

I don't think any "Worst Models" list is complete without mentioning the Weirdboy. I mean, just look at the chain the grot is holding on that model. And it is among the most popular units to have in ork lists.

I just ordered my Catachans. Ever since I have been watching more of them in last year and I hope like you said get some new updates on them.

I feel sorry for the Eldar players, half their roster has 20 years, the phoenix lords look like coloured poo, they all need a refresh, look how cool avatar of khaine and maugan Ra look, the eldar rangers, corsairs, shining spears autarch, reapers are amazing. I wish to see all the phoenix lords, striking scorpions, warp spiders, dire avengers and swooping hawks to be all update in the near future

Yeah, there are definitely some models that need a refresh, especially since GW can be so draconian about proxies, third party models, and even kit-bashing. I'll say right now I don't really like the Catachan aesthetic; when they didca refresh, and basically focused on the Cadians; my favorite regiment, I was ecstatic...but when I sawcwhat they did to the Catachan in the codex, I was floored. They simply SUCK, and I couldn't tell if it was simply because those models are old, and they didn't want to update then, too, so making them play bad meant no one would break them out, or if they're just sitting on them till 10th, so they'll have that as the Guard 10e addition, or what? I don't like then, nut they are iconic, and I expected more for them. I agree sone Eldar could really use love. I know that they are Xenos, and so GW doesn't care, but they are my favorite Xenos, so I always have to hope. I know it's too much to ask for Shadow Spectres to get into the codex, and be plastic, but some of the original Aspect Warriors are the same models as when I was first introduced to the hobby, and thatcwas 4e, when Daemonhunters got a codex, and Sisters of Battle and Tau first came along. Necrons were still Oldcrons, for heaven's sake, and Pariahs were still things. I know Space Marines are money; Space Marines are life, but I do wish more of their updates were things othervthan new Primaris, or new Lieutenants.

Catachans would make me make an AM army, and I’d be replacing all my finecast aspect warriors immediately when they bring out the refreshes. Though I’ll keep the old metal sculpts which I love, ‘natch.

Reptilian Overlords Spacenam are better Catachans than the official Catachans, available at a fraction of the price. We've got so bloat and overlap with the GW range that it is unlikely that the variety will ever improve.

With the rumours of a primaris jump pack unit I would personally LOVE a new primaris Dante model to lead them, ideally with an upgrade sprue for the new jump pack infantry to do primaris sanguinary guard. 👼

I agree, I mean GW's priorities are all over the damn place. They HAVE to make a new Lucious, and for the love of Pete an actual kit for Noise Marines not just an upgrade and that single stand alone model. If you're wondering how to make your Eldar Aspect warriors look better, there are Age of Sigmar Stormcast that have bodies that are fairly thin compared to Space Marines so that's a good opportunity for Kit Bashing.

I sorta want a unit of the old Catachans 😂 I'll pop in some extra redemptionists I have. It'll add some flavor and crunch to my army. Wait also is it just me or should GW drop Middle-Earth? That production cost could go to their actually cool games instead!
