@@Alejandracamacho357 I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invt-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 1.5million

For people having confusion on TCS (not TDS) on remittance under LRS above Rs. 7 lakhs. 1. TCS applies if for the financial year you remitted more than Rs. 7 lakhs under LRS on aggregate basis in a FY. 2. This is while remitting and not on withdrawal of money 3. TCS @ 5% is on amount in excess of Rs. 7 lakh. Eg on Rs. 5 lakhs remitted already in the FY and your fresh remittance/deposit is say Rs. 3 lakhs which makes your aggregate remittances Rs. 8 lakhs in that FY. While remitting this Rs. 3 lakhs payment you will be paying TCS of Rs. 5,000 (8-7 Lakhs) x 5%. Yes TCS is not on Rs. 8 lakhs entirely but on excess over 7 lakhs which was Rs. 1 lakh.

As of the July 2023 this will change according to financial budget presented. There will be a 20% TCS at source irrespective of the amount. This can be claimed later while filing returns though

22:37 Hey Ankur just a small correction here. 1. The 5% that you pay for remittances in excess of Rs. 7 lakhs under LRS is TCS (Tax collected at source) and not TDS (Tax deducted at source) 2. 5% is on amount in excess of Rs. 7 lakh. Eg on Rs. 8 lakhs remittance, TCS to be paid will be Rs. 5,000 (8-7 Lakhs) x 5% 3. Under TDS the payee deducts the x % while remitting but under TCS the payee additionally pays x % over & above the remittance being made (TCS logic is similar to GST on goods/service but under Income Tax Act) And genuinely thank you for such insightful detailed video.

Hey Ankur! Thanks for sharing the info! Referred and found this online - "TCS will be applicable on the amount in excess of Rs 7 lakh in a financial year and not on the total amount. For example, if the total foreign exchange facility availed under LRS in a financial year is Rs 10 lakh, and you want to remit the amount abroad, a TCS at 5 percent will be applicable on Rs 3 lakh. (Rs 10 lakh minus Rs 7 lakh) and tax collected will be Rs 15,000. In another example, if a person is remitting Rs 10 lakh for any purpose (other than for the purchase of an overseas tour package), he has to make a payment of Rs 10,15,000 (RS 10 lakh plus 5 percent of Rs 3 lakh)." Please make your corrections accordingly.

INDmoney may not be that much transparent as described here. Please do your research. Reasons 1. We won't get email confirmation after investment as we get in NSE or BSE. 2. No customer care tele numbers 3. I refered link to my fnd. He deposited Rs 7000.00 in INDmoney. After 01 hr it showed your bal is Rs6,500.00. Then after a day it showed Rs6,100.00. No customer care tele numbers, so keep raising tickets...

Few points to note: (1) For money transferred to US Account, INDMoney does charge Platform Fee 0.75% on the Deposit Money. For example, if you want to transfer Rs 50000, INDMoney charges Rs 375. (2) There is no provision for placing LIMIT order while buying US Stock. You have to buy at the current market rate.

They earn money by giving you a slightly lower conversion rate. However you’re still saving money according to Warikoo because there are no excess fees. Maybe comparing the fees should have been a part of this video. Not complaining just an idea for a possible future video

It would be fair during calculation if you take forward conversion into account.. I.e INR/USD. in that case returns% kam ho sakte hai.. But good to say ki diversification aur future rupee depreciation ka benefit to milta hi hai..

TCS here applies if for the financial year you remitted (Deposited) more than Rs. 7 lakhs under LRS either as single payment or aggregate payments made in FY. In short its on aggregate payment made in the FY. This is while depositing and not on withdrawal.

5 years return . Senses 200797 and s&P 224477-20%long term capital gain tax=179582 rs. According to 5 years. It will be better to invest in India 🇮🇳 I think. But for 10 years USA stock little bit better than India. Please reply sir

Brilliant tutorial, crisp and clear narration. How about trading of options on US stocks. I prefer option trading than share investing. Main reason is in America, lot size is 100 shares of any company, irrespective of its price. Indian market options trading rules are ridiculous to drive away retail investors.

As per the limits as mentioned: Maximum limits prescribed by the RBI are $250K (Rs 1.9 Cr approx.) per year. Most banks also have a daily limit of $25K per day and $50K per month. These limits include remittance abroad for all purposes such as - Travel (loading currency into a travel card), Education, Investment abroad, Business, etc. Please try to Clarify the following points. 1. $250k limit is across all demat/ brokers? For Eg. If im having multiple demat accounts for Us stocks trading like IND money, GROW, ICIC etc.. So 250k Limite is across all the demats and what if i by mistake i transfer more than the limit. And how to track all these expenses (whether manually or its automated) 2. Is there any link/ connection to ITR returns to the Maximum Limite for USD transfer. For eg. if ones ITR says income of 15 lacs, can he transfer more than 15 lacs like 50 to 60 lacs.
