DISCLAIMER: I did pause during a microgame in the run. This was to answer the door, not to give myself a competitive advantage. Sadly, the fact remains that it did, but do note I never fell below 2 lives before reaching 100 so even if I lost, it wouldn't have mattered towards my goal.
Pretty solid run all around, though it fell apart pretty hard after the boss stage fail. It kinda bugs me that I could have very well done better but it is what it is.
Orbulon has a bunch of really solid microgames in his collection, with a lot of varied things to do. Seeing all sorts of culture certainly helps to make this stage a unique one! I'd like the stage more, but it really does have some nasty pairings, some of the worst in the game, actually. It almost feels like the stage was made to bully low tiers lol. 9-Volt has some really rough ones, though luckily the one bad combo I got was fairly early on, so it didn't effect much.
Troubling microgames include the mask matching one, which is one of the few in the game to have 3 bad pairings, and in general it is really difficult to perform everything in time, given the doors seem to behave randomly, the game cuts early when the door shuts and the accuracy needed is a big ask from a lot of the cast. I had one run where pretty far in I got Kat on it and the mask even spawned at the bottom! Hot-Air Heroics is also pretty weird, I'm not sure I've figured it out yet. It feels like you have to push the balloon at a point that allows it to go over a lot of people but sometimes it just wiggles and lets you win. The music for it also sounds strikingly like the first theme from Mad Rat Dead and I can't unhear it.
Boss stage was a bit of a worry at first but it seems to me like there's a finite number of patterns it can give you, which dictate even when the birds spawn. I found that my mistake was worrying too much about them. They can be very annoying, but what's more annoying is dying because you abandoned your post chasing one.
Overall, good run, hopefully the pause wasn't too big a deal, but at this point I feel like a lot of these scores can be improved quite readily.
