I love following along with classical scores, and this is probably the first time I've seen a double bass ensemble part in tenor clef. That is really interesting.

@@ricardoh87 it's just A Major with an added B Natural from the viola. I'd probably say however that it would be C#Min7(#5)

I have no idea how many times I've listened to this suite. I think it may be my favorite short suite. (Short in comparison to suites like the nutcracker)

I completley forgot I preformed this with the Colburn String Orchestra in like 2017. This got reccomended to me on a whim. This shit unlocked a memory. What a trip.

Together with concert leader Henning Kraggerud, and arguably even beyond him, the lead cellist, Torun Stavseng, absolutely steals the show. In hs orchestra we did the first movement for competition. Our concertmaster and I were the only ones out of the outside firsts that could do the upper octave. Thankfully, his violin could project well. So all you heard was one or two great sounding upper octave and all these out of tune lower octaves on the first violin part. Lol Hilarious memory. Somehow, we managed to get first place 😂
