Actually he's a Life Guard. Blues & Royal s wear blue tunics and Red plumes on their helmets, whereas Life Guards as illustrated in this video wear Red Tunics and Cream coloured plumes. They are both members of the Household Cavalry. My Late Father was in the Blues & Royals.

I thought so too. I can't tell if the guardsman twitched the reins to to have the horse turn towards the woman or in response to the horse turning towards her... Either way all three of them were respectful and it made for a very sweet moment.

I did a lot of horse riding in my youth in South Africa we had some calls from homes with handicapped people to come and visit the horses I was always with a tear in my eyes when I saw what tenderness there was between those people and the horses they have an incredible understanding this was one such moment

Horses just know. They are smarter than most people think. I used to take my OTT to an aged care facility I worked at and he just loved it. Staff would bring residents out in wheelchairs and beds to say hello. He would just drop his head for them so they could touch him however they could and was the perfect sweet gentleman for them. As I said before horses just know😊

Horses are sensitive to people I’ve ridden a horse that was a real test of my riding abilities he was in a real mood Next lesson a party of young disabled teens came into the school and the horse that id ridden was like a lamb with the teenage lad on his back I was in awe with the gentleness shown by this 16’ 2 beast of a horse less than 30mins before.

Such a wonderful moment for the The King's Guard, his Mount and of course this Sweet Lady who wanted to let them both know how much she appreciated their service! LOVE THIS CHANNEL! Horses are like dolphins. They sense when someone needs gentle interaction. My daughter (disabled) went to Horse Riding for the Disabled. And, those ponies were all, so tuned in. Gentle, funny (with more lively Service Users), or extremely docile to instil no fear of them. This was a lovely two-way interaction and respect.

my daughter is also disabled and does RDA as well, she has one horse that she always rides. She is nonverbal but she can yell out Aspa (Jasper) who comes galloping up to her and greets her and waits patiently for her and then walks so quietly and carefully with her on him. I swear he thinks shes made out of china. He loves her and she loves him. HORSES like DOGS and CATS know - i dont know how they know but they sense it and adjust their behaviour and attitude accordingly.
