This is my problem with this one’s villains compared to the Momstars. Even if you had never watched a game of basketball in your life, you understood why the Monstars were good. Not only that, but they were built up all through the story and had a clear motivation. These guys are introduced just before the game happens and if you don’t know who the actors behind them are, they seem like a random assortment of characters with nothing in common.

The players that the Goon Squad are based on are introduced way earlier in the movie. It’s pretty clear that these NBA/ WNBA players will be the template for the villain team. Plus, the Goon Squad are meant to be just that, goons. The real villainous character is Al G Rhythm who is manipulating Dom. The Goon Squad are an extension of Dom

@@SILK97 The same could be said for the Monstars. The mains difference is the Monstars are just using the talent of basketball players while the Goon Squad are based off of details about the players. If you don’t know those details, the Goon Squad just looks like a random assortment of characteristics that have mother holding them together.

A Fact about Diana Taurasi(White Mamba) She’s Former UConn. A friend of mine introduced me to her one day while she was still in UConn. Super friendly, She told me to go watch her play since later in the week she had a Game to Go To. I took note and when the Game came I watched her play and she was amazing. When I met up with her few days later On my way to class, I told her that I went to the game and She was amazing. Though I don’t watch WNBA often, I know that she should be proud about how far she’s going being in USA Basketball for Tokyo olympics.
