Haha we always do that. Even down the high street. She's absolutely hilarious isn't she. Copying me always. Thanks a lot, I'm so happy to be able to share this journey with everyone. It's hard and while I make it look easy I hope people can appreciate what I'm doing for her and the sacrifices I am making. Only what most parents do I know but it's not easy. I think working full time is the hardest part for me to be honest. Maybe that needs to change 🤷

@@TravelwithGaryandAmika I love it, never fails to touch my heart, you should pick a ‘twirl’ spot and do it every year in the same place (or somewhere new) - As she gets older and older then you can splice the clips together and when she’s all growed up 🥹 it would be a treasured bit of footage…. She is hilarious, that’s for sure. I think you’d have to be blind not to notice how much effort you make, you have an enviable amount of energy and drive to get on with it! You must do what’s right for you and Amika and I know whatever that is, you’ll be a success, working / part time / full time van & KZfaq…. the world is your oyster xx

Hi guys we just got back from Cumbria and the lake district, we where at that sellafield beach site on our second video 8min 30 sec it is an amazing wild camp. I did this area in the winter of 2021. Not a sole about. There is a privately produced map, called the Lakes 100. Cost £5.00 but worth every penny. All the places of interest on the map. Buy then enjoy!

@@TravelwithGaryandAmika I got mine from the shop at little museum at Conniston Water. There are Stine Circles near Keswick. And Your daughter will love the museum and park in Keswick. Free parking on street where museum and park are. Free timed tickets are on the railings.

Thanks Glen. When I have time it's good to edit. Ah yes understood. Yeah I was going but I'm not done enough base trianing. I Thu k I'd sturggle to complete a 10km run at sea level at the moment!! Going to germany instead to take Amika to see her mum. I'll aim for font next summer or similar

You’re so lucky living so close to the lakes. Can’t believe you had some sunshine as well. Last trip I had to the lakes it rained so hard that my friends and I gave up and came home….. our tents were literally floating. I remember those shootings. Pretty sure the gunman was a taxi driver. Very sad indeed. Great video mate 😊👍😊

What a lovely sunset you guys got and amazing scenery - sounds amazing chocolate cake watching the sun set. Nice waterfall too - I don’t think I’ve been to that one. Love Buttermere, the parking seems to have gone up somewhat since we were last there. Always loved the fish hotel at the other end to Gates Garth, think it was taken over and changed its name now, stayed there once about 20 years back. Beautiful scenery. Something special about the Western Lakes / Cumbria coast too. Have a great week, All the best, David & Rachel 👍

The sunset was 💯❤️ Yeah it's a good one between Keswick and Buttermere. Ah I didn't see that place but yeah maybe a name change. Yeah we really like the western lakes. Less people perhaps 😂

There’s a fantastic infinity pool about 15 mins walk from where you parked up there at Gatesgarth, well worth a visit! Going to nip up to the lakes mon/tues and possibly have a wild van camp with my two bambino’s so I’ll have to have a quick scroll back at your previous stops and have a look for some ideas 👍🏻

Love your videos and especially the lake district ones, how you find available spots is fab - I must be braver (out of high season) and find some for myself rather than relying on pub-stops etc. However, the yellow line thing - you can’t park either side of them “Waiting restrictions apply from the centre of the carriageway to the back of the pavement (building line). Even if it’s a seemingly harmless grass verge, you’ll still get ticketed as it’s council property.” To me, the arrow on that sign was telling you that there was a car park in the direction of the arrow and you should use it. It is confusing though.

Thanks a lot ☺️ Yep I'm fully aware of the law (having driven around central London as a delivery driver for my sins😂) which is why I moved my van. However........ the ticket machine actually states "over the bridge on the grass verge" as a parking area, the same area which has double yellows. The lines are new so I assume that the council lined that area in error. Very misleading and will catch a LOT of people out.

Well the brains of the outfit worked out the sundial. Gary try Arnica gell on your leg Australian Tea tree pure oil is good (top brand is Australian Tea tree theirs is100% pure) for hair and skin as it is a strong natural antiseptic the Aborigines can't be wrong they've been using it for millions of years.

Hello Mr sensitive... The plaque is the memorial, not the castle. The castle structure also features a massive cannon, a symbol of attack and death which is in relation to the military history of the village. Perhaps putting a plaque under a cannon is more insensitive but I'm certain no one in the village cares about that. Having fun with my daughter is what life is all about and educating her about the tragedy that unfolded that day was important to me 👍
