Well the morning after Carly Simon was with Beatty, she went to her therapist to talk about it, and the therapist replied ''I'm sorry but you're not the first person to tell me this today''.

No, what they are is narcissists. That is unadulterated, narcissistic psychopathology. They FEAR attaching to anyone because their parents damaged them as little children, teaching them that their only value is making the parent "look good" by achieving (in Beatty's case, becoming famous). That isn't anything anyone should EVER wish on any child. It's almost irreparably damaging.

Beatty is such an odd guy. Nothing like Nicholson or Brando who were hilarious in real life, especially Brando who was a master of revelation in interviews. At one point, Beatty wanted to go into politics and he changed his persona which is fair enough, but he didn't run for office and he never snapped out of that weird persona he adopted.

A few years ago Carly Simon finally came out and said the song was written about Mick Jagger, who she briefly dated back then. On another interview she said that the song "Anticipation" was written some time around 1970 when she was waiting for Cat Stevens to pick her up for their first date. Warren is a total force! He didn't do tons of movies but almost everything he touched turned to gold, and from say 1967 until the early 80s he, Jack, and Robert Evans had the world in the palms of their hands. I was born at the end of 1968 and would have rather been born 20 years earlier because the 70s in So CA were awesome times to be of age!

Slept with 13,000 women? Wilt Chamberlain claimed 10,000, and that sounds highly dubious. I have no doubt that Beatty has had more than his share of women (and gorgeous women at that), but sleeping with that many women would indicate an extreme sex addiction.

Hard to imagine whey Beatty agreed to do this appearance. He invested no effort into it.

Not quite true .. read Carly's memoir ..Here is from an Article " Much of the attention surrounding Carly Simon’s memoir involves the identity of the subject of her hit song “You’re So Vain,” which she reveals in a throwaway paragraph to have been about three people, with the second verse about Beatty. She has not revealed the other two."

Recently saw Beattie in a 1950's film The Only Game in Town and discovered what a good actor he is. Reds was glorious but he ruined it with the monotonous love scenes.

He was very pretty when younger, about 50 years ago. Oh ! and he had Power,Privelege,Wealth beyond avarice, a beautiful mansion in Beverly Hills and was considered a Stud-Muffin. I see what you mean. Other than that what did the ( then ) Number 2 Actor in Hollywood have?

A Rarefind - the movie producers for the ultra famous company - DreamWorks Films & was founded by 3 people - Spielberg, Katzenberg & Geffen, also known as SKG. He was also the subject of a famous song by Joanie Mitchell - Free Man in Paris. Yea, he’s a major power player in Hollywood & worth nearly 7 billion dollars.

@@jasonjackson5696 okay I will but after I texted you I said oh oh oh of course she wrote it about the record producer because anybody who has that much money must be vain and then I said to myself all the song is You're so vain as it oh yeah perfect yeah she wrote it about him even though I don't know who he is cuz Warren Beatty... It's so down-to-earth and cool and easy going and just knows he's naturally whatever he is happy and good-looking and talented he ain't stuck up but this record producer would be so yeah yeah that's who!she did even with a record producer by writing a record that's for sure 🤗
