Its quiet interesting how we reject the reality of our situation and expect to be able to observe it, control it and even change it. I used to be financially depressed until I read a book that made me realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.

Great advice Warren, thank you. Money isn't everything. Be a good person, work hard, focus on learning and growing everyday, and stay consistent in your values. Save more than you spend, live modestly, and enjoy your family and friends, focus on fun experiences, doing hobbies you enjoy, helping others, spiritual fulfillment, and not material things, and avoid toxic people. If you're failing at something, recognize it quickly, fail fast and then change direction.

The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving and investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.

The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling, or fluctuate in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $300k reserve.

@@SelimOrduIs this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying we are in the bull market and all, but obviously there are strategies to maneuver when there is a bear market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, I'm attempting to create a portfolio for me and my children that will at least be $1.2m in value.

This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

Most times it amazes me greatly the way I move from an average lifestyle to earning over 70k per month, utter shock is the word, I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities abound in the financial markets, The only thing is to know where to focus

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

How does Warren Buffett avoid making mistakes?
@larslover6559
@larslover6559 Жыл бұрын
look up Charlie Munger. He has alot to say there. He talks about there are so many brilliant people in all fields and that its almost impossible to beat any of them. So instead of trying to be best, he looks on the mistakes other makes and try to avoid their mistakes... It's part of Inversion thinking: which is in his "bag of tricks". Inversion thinking is look on the negative side and then do opposite. Example if you have a business and you want it to succeed. Instead of asking "How should my business grow?" you can ask:" What must I do to go bankrupt and crash the business?" when you come up on all the things that you can do wrong you just invert and do the opposite...
