I'm trying! For context, it was bedtime for me here in Australia as soon as I posted the video, so all those bots you saw literally popped up while I was sleeping. Now it's the morning and I've just spent 30 mins deleting them all. Unfortunately it's just unsustainable for the creators to clean up their comments. It's one person vs thousands of bots. We really need YT to fix this. I'll keep trying, but I simply can't get them all and it eats a lot of my time that I should be spending on content.

If you try to negotiate a price with the business owner directly, you’ll rarely make any money. They would value the business high, always. Only the stock market’ existence makes inefficiencies appear.

Just buy ETFs and DCA in. Don't stock pick if you have no knowledge on the stock market. Hold the money you aren't putting into the market into a high yield savings account. Read the boglehead subreddit. You cannot time the market! And don't take my advice and follow it. Do your own research and reading and see if my advice fits with your risk tolerance.

Mine overall insurance has gone up crazy these past years. That's one of the reasons I'm looking into insurance stocks as they seem to have pricing power. I think TRV or PGR is probably a better stock than CB. But maybe CB provides a better synergy with Berkshire's existing insurance business.

Buffet doesn’t own the company outright so he doesn’t get to use any money from the float…. He obviously loves insurance I could see him making a tender offer for the company in a big downturn. This is really the only reason I can see he would buy shares of this company. Plus Chubb tends to cater to the very wealthy. With inflation at 30 year highs this would be an amazing company for him to buy outright.

In my opinion it shouldn't be. Everoyne else has to share their information pretty much immediately. When you or I buy, the market maker immediately bets against us. Buffet has privileges.

I was in all 3 amc , gme and ffie . I made about 100k . We know is going to be extremely versatile . This is why strategy matters . Personally I decided to buy the stock and buy a long put as insurance. The reasoning behind my strategy is not to pay the high premiums for calls. Also because I reduce my risk by buying insurance it gives me a higher multiple than someone buying calls or the stock outright. Example if the stock went to 10 I'll be up around 300% , the person who bought the stock outright would be up around 100% and the person who bought a call 150 % . I also can sell after hours with the stock but you can't with options. Buy 100 stock and buy a long put for 116 days out at a $3 strike price for about 50 cents. Total cost of trade $250 .

I mean, I honestly have no interest in this Chubb stock especially at all time highs. But if it were like Disney at $101 or Ford at $12 or Alibaba at $80 that would definitely get me more excited & more bullish. Those are the stocks I’m buying. Also Starbucks in the $70s & Bristol Myers at $42.
