years ago i clicked on government mule, that was a fateful click i've never regretted; Warren has become my favorite male blues singer/guitar player. you've earned my respect, keep hitting it!

I struggle to decide whether he's a better guitar player or better singer...this song doesn't help. He is just plain awesome.

Better singer. He's not bad at guitar, but seriously you feel the void left by Derek Trucks. Amazing artist nonetheless.

As good on an acoustic as he is on an electric as he is behind a microphone. A great artist.

warren was playing this on the smile at half mast tour fall 2000. pretty sure that was before derek knew what this song was.

I stall... as 62 smacks me in the face (I'm the 63d commenter), still in awe of an icon of voice and guitar...now that's pure unadulterated music, thanks for posting it. I love loose and string slides. Parents played guitar, bass, steel, dobro and mandolin

Well some folks are plain stupid, others are just plain brain dead. Classless acts of ignorance lacking the ability to understand talent in pure form. I play lead guitar and have for 35 years but I can not imagine criticizing one of our nations most talented players, ever.

Anyone know what tuning this is? When he plays with Derek Trucks he's in standard but there's just no way here. Drop D or Open D?
@andrewptob5 жыл бұрын
Double drop D. Just drop you low and high E strings down to a D. 🤙
@bandersonbanderson18275 жыл бұрын
I believe it is in a D tuning.

Great music. But the video editor seems to have a short attention span. You really don't need to change the angle every five seconds. It gets tiring. And I'd like to see his guitar technique for more than a few seconds.
@midi5105 жыл бұрын
Blame MTV for that. When MTV came out, it almost made me dizzy. Some people actually like to focus on the subject.
