Signal chain: Line 6 XDS Plus wireless system (full range output) into a Korg Pitchblack Poly tuner, then straight into a Phil Jones Bass M-500 (SIX-PAK combo) with two 9b cabinets.
Amp is set flat (parametric and graphic EQ’s are not engaged) with no compression. For each bass I played there were no adjustments to input gain or output volume - except for this bass, the preamp produced slightly less gain than my other basses.
Note: if I add a small amount of bass, treble, and mid, it boosts the output up to par with the others (and sounds better to me).
Bass is a Warrior Dran Michael 5 string bass, neck-through, with an Aguilar OBP3 preamp. Strings are unknown.
