Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I'm a huge fan of Warrior gear, except that I've gotten to like my CCM EFlex pads. But I think their chestys & breezers are the best I've tried, and I was blown away by the glove I tried on a few weeks ago, I think it was one of the G6 models. I couldn't believe how cleanly it closed right off the shelf, so impressive. Warrior pants & catching glove are in my future, I think.

Absolutely loved my custom G5pro+ set at launch I got a second full practice set. Now I added the slide plates to them. Waiting till tendyfest in June to decide on whether there's enough change to pull me out of the 5's... I've got questions on some of the custom specs. But colorway is DIALED IN!!!

Hi! Thank you for the review. I was trying out new pads at a hockey store and fell in love with the warrior ritual g6 e+ because of how easy it is to get into the butterfly with stiff pads. This is the first time I wore newer pads as my ccm pads are from 2013. I am just wondering of my assessment is correct or was I making an incorrect assumption considering that my observation was not made during game play? The coverage seemed to be much more better with these stiff pads and the strapping was great for ball hockey goalies like me given that they have heel hooks.

I have warrior gloves still to this day, not a fan of the 580 break but the gloves are just great. If they'd had the g6 stuff out when I got SLR 3's, I might have gotten them. love the professor strap, slide plates look great, graphis is meh but what can you do?

Looks sharp. Unrelated question. In the RVH, I generally rest the back of my shoulder on the post, running my arm down the post to my pad. Being a short guy, the top corner is always wide open, which invites shooters to aim for it. Knowing this, last night I was almost wrapping my arm around the post to get my head into that top corner. The result, a giant welt on the side of my shoulder where they tried, and failed to make it. Is there a chesty that wraps around the arm and shoulder to provide some side impact protection?

How is the cuff on the blocker for integration with the hyperlite2 chesty for you? I saw you cut the cuff on Hyper2 blocker to get more mobility, i have the same issue with that chesty and hyperlite Blocker, its to damn tight and rubs. No issues with true or mach. I am looking at retail g6 for a 2nd pair of gear, curious how the cuff is for you? thanks

For someone with such a narrow butterfly, what's the point in getting super stiff flat pads with minimal thigh rise? Would assume at least a +2 thigh rise and a double break or a pre-curved stock shape would benefit someone with your style but you seem to always have pads that point like this '\ / ' in your butterfly instead of like this 'U'

I like stiff rebounds to the corners. 5 hole doesnt need to be closed. Just need the knee pads together
