Warriors aint kd's team though. They have won chips before KD. Take away steph i guarantee you warriors has ZERO chance even if they had KD. Teams always had ONE player that hold the TEAM together. Steph, magic, larry, jordan, bill russell, kobe, hakeem, duncan, dirk, lebron. These players are the ones holding the team together, you take them out, the team wont be the same.

I was watching the game last night and Stephen was struggling. The third quarter was almost over and he had like 10 points. All of a sudden, Kevin gets hurt and it was like a switch flipped in his head and he became the Stephen of back in the day. This is the perfect opportunity for GSW to show the rockets that they are the true champions. When Chris Paul got hurt, the rockets folded and lost back to back game. Now, GSW have lost Demarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant. Will they fold, or will they rise to the top?

It seems like people forget that Klay said at the beginning of the season that he wanted to focus on defense and he has done that. Klay even said in press conference after they eliminated the rockets that now he has to take more shots because KD is a scoring machine. Klay recognizes that KD is a fantastic at offense and he should focus on defense. Now that KD is out Klay will step up and if he gets hot there is no chance for the other team. When Klay gets the ball more he can get hot and then the Warriors are unstoppable.

@Tod Wilkinson Draymond isn't Rodman, he's clearly an inferior rebounder and defender but he's a better playmaker and with him on the court he can make plays for the entire team, he's actually more like the Scottie Pippen of the team and Scottie.

@Tod Wilkinson While I agree that's the true defensive PF's role, more variety to to one's skillset can open many other opportunities. It's not like he can't shoot at all and I'm not the other guy saying he "needs to hit those" but it would be nice if he would atleast attempt to shoot wide open shots if everyone else is guarded and if he can do that, the opposing teams would think twice leaving him wide open and the entire opponent's team defense would be more lax as Steph and Klay run off ball freely.

Tod Wilkinson you went back 20+ years. It was a completely different game, bulls could win with 95 points. Less possessions, no emphasis on the 3 ball, the game was played inside out and a lot more physical also they still had Steve Kerr, Paxton, Scottie pippen, Ron Harper and MICHAEL JORDAN. The warriors don’t have Michael Jordan first of all... second the 3 ball era means you need depth and great shooters. some teams have both, like the bucks which is why they are so hard to beat. obviously the warriors have 2 great shooters but the rockets have great shooters too ..it will probably come down to whoever gets the most out of their supporting cast.. due to having no depth the warriors will have draymond and Andre on the court for most the game so they have to be effective on the offensive end.. and obviously I don’t mean dray has to hit every shot but he needs to shoot a good percentage from the floor.. 16, 8 & 8 on 7-14 shooting with 2 three balls would be ideal

Another factor is they probably liked leaning on KD on offense simply because they could rest their legs a little since they aren't a very deep team. Running around screens constantly and tons of ball movement can be draining when you don't have a lot of subs. Plus this isn't a team of 23 year olds, lots of vets with tons of minutes on their legs. I see them pulling out this series but if they don't get KD back they might have a hard time winning the chip.

The Warriors have always been at their best when they're whipping the ball around and Curry and Klay are getting open looks. KD isoing and playing hero ball is consistent offense and it raises their floor, but I think the Warriors ceiling is higher without him because he just kills their offensive flow so much. That being said the Warriors are still a better team with KD because he buys into Warriors ball and plays within the system sometimes and he's such a good defender.

Cuttino Mobley is right and very correct on his analysis. The guy is good. GSW is more DANGEROUS without KD.. The Warriors is Champion even before the arrival of KD. And that made them a great team.

You guys are missing the real story. The NBA front office, along with the Referee Association, has been attacking Steph Curry. Referees consistently calling quick fouls on him, forcing him out of the game. After game one of this series, the NBA put out their two-minute report and had the audacity to single out Steph Curry, claiming he got away with Two fouls. Now think about this carefully... between the two teams, 19 players played that night, but only Steph Curry committed fouls that weren’t called. They’re so bold they don’t care how bias it appears. Last two games, the Warriors were actually defending with their hands behind their backs. Go back and review the game... Klay Thompson received a foul guarding harden with his hands behind his back. Harden shot a 3 and jump forward placing his feet under Klay’s landing area, and Klay, with his hands behind his back, was call for a foul. Imagine how the warriors players are feeling, knowing their league is rooting for them to lose. And taking active steps, via their Referees, to assist with their plans. Force the warriors to lose, force them to breakup after this season... why? So lebroom can win more championship and the league can flourish once again. Smh...

Its true when KD is playing the play is stagnant but when hes absent currys game is unpredictable, hard to analyse and it so dangerous. Curry is just respecting KD thats why hes not showing much if KDs playing. 😁

This is the team 73-9 only short one 3 point to tie the 7th game while Bogut injured. This is the team that won 19 straight game when KD injured. GSW play more fluid w/o KD. KD is definitely needed in the next series....6th man would be better.

True and not true at the same time. Look at Harden. He is being a beast on the floor. Every time he goes up in the air we know it is an automatic 3pt score. The guy is deadly and I am afraid of him the most. Tucker on the other hand is another killer. Both Curry and Klay arent consistent compared to Harden and Tucker. And we don't have a bench to match with the Rockets. The only way I see us winning is Curry and Klay peforming miracles.

Its insane to hear all these Analyst talk about how good the Warriors are without KD like they didnt recruit him for that very reason. This entire series has been decided by 6 or less points and KD is averaging 40 points a game for Warriors. Let that sink in. Good luck Warriors winning without him lol

The truth about this houston vs warriors series is last year the houston lost because cp3 is injured in game 5 and never cime back and this year they lost again against the warriors because kd is out 😂😂😂😂😂..this is lit and houston always got a reason why they lost, i'm telling you guys in a week or month their going to release a 2 minute video to prove it hahaha...
