Well yeah the whole Klay thing is sad. Sad seeing his decline. There's really only 2 options. 1: GSW resigns Klay, they dont make any aggressive moves during free agency, release Paul, save money, develop their young guys, while we watch Curry's final years as a warrior potentially Not playing meaningful( as in deep playoff runs) basketball Or 2: go all out, for 1 more Run, which will include aggressive trades. There's also a 3rd option: they resign Klay, let go of CP3, bring in some low budget role players/vet minimum guys, and then expect 21 year old Kuminga to become Anthony Edwards over the off season, and be that #2 option, that drives to the basket, isn't afraid of taking 3s, and defends at a high level 😂

I am not a fan of PG but if it comes with Zubac, I can consider it highly… in this scenario, you can have CP, Wiggs, Moody and picks in the trade… if they want Kuminga, I would include it but keeping Wiggs… That would be a good trade for me!

We had to strong rookies last season and their development was because of CP3, Kerr doesn't work with the young players, and Draymond was on punishment. The Dubs really relied on the young core, Kuminga included, so send CP3 somewhere he wants to be. Wiggins is either there physically but no mentally, or smashing his hand in car doors, and clearly has a problem playing against JP, so he needs to go, Klay made his choice and now we all have to live with it. Not sure if PG13 will work, but I believe him and Draymond are good friends so hopefully Draymond doesn't tell him, we don't need him and to leave, nor a punching incident 🤞🏾

agreed, great idea. Plus we got our center so we don't need to trade for a big name like J allen. Or if we trade loon, we could sign someone like valanciunas. Murray and PG 13 are both excellent 2 way players that fit our culture. A starting 5 of Steph, Murray, PG, Kuminga, Dray, or Dray at the 4 TJD at center would be a huge threat and one of the most versatile teams in the west.

No, don’t want Paul George , don’t want to send away my bright young star Kuminga, want to keep the core intact, would like a nice center that’s about it. Wiggins can go. Paul definitely will be gone not so sure about Looney and Payton. We have a great group of young players. Warriors will be contenders without having to get George. So-called fans just wanna blow up the team when the reality is they weren’t that far off last year. Now, if we lose Klay, then all bets are off.

Not really. You have to understand the new CBA is making the cap space tougher. Teams are being more careful with contracts now. Klay literally has had two years of bad playoff performances. PG is a risk, but at this point you have to risk it all. You cannot waste Curry’s last few years.

Get rid of Wiggins/CP3; W’s will survive while Curry era. Get rid of Klay; there’s no one out there that the W’s could obtain who could sync along w/Curry/Green/Looney:shoots; and know the W’s system as he does. No one shooter could take over for Klay’s position; not Wiggins/not Podz/Not Moody/not any of their Guards. Paul George is good but won’t have the same overall impacts like Klay does. If W’s could keep Klay/JK and package Wiggins/CP3/Moody/draft picks; that would be crazy

Also replacing Paul George with Klay wouldn’t necessarily make use a better team!! Because we only have to pay Klay 25-30 million, that would give us better flexibility building the roster. And Klay still elite at providing spacing( i understand PG can do the same thing!!)… PG would probably cost kuminga!! He’s older!! Just that alone is too much from a logical standpoint and basketball standpoint. And tbh it doesn’t address our dire needs!! I rather release Chris Paul!! Resign Klay to 3years 75 million!! Trade kuminga, poz, and moody and a pick for Lauri, who will only make 18million this year!! Trade Andrew Wiggins and lonney and couple of second round pick,(maybe a first if needed) to get Brandon Ingram!! And fill the rest of the roster with good veteran minimum player (like Boston did last year)!!!! If we do these moves financially for this year we would be out of the tax apron!! And our team is switchable with more talent!! Final roster looks like: Steph, Klay, Green, Ingram, Lauri!! Bench:TJD, Gary ll, Rookie, a min level exception player, 5 veteran minimum players!! Ingram 26 and lauri 26, that is our future after the big 3 (for the people that are worried)!! And we retain our flexibility!! I believe this is our best opportunity to maximize the rest of Steph era. Hopefully my suggestion is realistic, because it worked financially and on paper. I literally watched Boston Celtics take the same route last off-season. Let’s get lucky and make it happen!!

Morning age, money and injury concerns with PG. what about how it will DECIMATE our depth? You just said that in our championship years we needed a legit TEAM around him. We always had DEPTH. PG doesn't move the needle enough with all we lose.
