UPDATE: the cause of this has been discovered. a very good video explaining it can be found here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/idmRo82Xrq3deoU.html Here's 2 clips I have of me getting downed from 2 melee hits from the starting pistol in Warzone. Pistol melee supposedly only does 95 damage, which would make it impossible to down a player in 2 swings, but obviously we see it happening here. It has happened to me many many more times than this, I just don't both saving the clips anymore, but I wish I had! As you can clearly see in the clips, I do not get shot in the air, I am at a full 2 armor plates, I clearly take 2 instances of damage from both these players, and both times the first hit does the expected 95 damage (see of sliver of armor remaining on my health), while the second hit apparently dealt 105 damage to down me. My theory with this is that the specific starting pistol that you drop in with in Warzone is programmed to give you a 2-hit kill every time against 2 armor plates.

So you replied to a comment I made when I memed on you and I'm the reason you uploaded this video. Well months later I finally figured it out for real and have a serious answer. Basically there's a such thing as a "critical hit" (headshot) with melees that can change a 3 tap into a 2 tap. If you watch your kill cam the guy's first animation hits you with the gun (normal), but the second he has an elbow swing (critical hit). Anytime you get the elbow swing animation it will be a 2 tap when you only have two plates.

I swear this is such bullshit they should nerf this how come hitting somebody with your weapon does more damage than a 50 caliber bullet ?
