Seven years later, the 2015 MLB Trade Deadline's effects are still lingering. In just one week, baseball's future talents were thrown all over the places in exchange for players who'd hope to elevate their teams to the Fall Classic. Here's the full roundup.

NOTE: At 6:18, David Price's ERA with Toronto should be 2.30, not 3.59. Mixed it with his numbers from 2014 for Detroit. I plan to retire because of this mistake, hope you all understand.

Alex Wood definitely made a major impact for the Dodgers. He was a top 10 Cy Young finalist in 2017 and also was incredible in the world series that year. If we won in game 7 he'd have been one of the finalists for world series MVP

Braves CBP turned into Joey Wentz who was traded for Shane Greene last year. Not huge but he did play a role in the braves almost being nl champs.

@@JollyOlive also wood was traded to Cincinnati in 2018 which the dodgers got in return Josiah gray and Jeter downs, both key pieces in the trades for mookie Betts, David price, Scherzer, and trea turner.

Cespedes was a MASSIVE driving force in my Mets fandom, and while things after the 2015 run were only down hill, his initial impact will always be something to special to me. Great video as always Jolly #LFGM

Cespedes best year with the Mets was 2016 because,well, he pretty much played the whole year lol. I still would take a full healthy season of Cespedes if the NL had a DH. If he doesn't opt out last year, maybe we make the playoffs instead of those marlins. But at least Dom Smith played everyday.

Coming from a Royals fan, knowing this was the year we won the world series, I was just thinking back about the Trade deadline for this year. Ironically, I couldn't remember anyone being traded except Cueto that year. Thanks for making this video and refreshing my memory on this crazy trade deadline!!!

There was some bonkers trades this year. But I always go back to 08 though there were only two that made an impact CC and Manny were the key reason there teams made it to the postseason. Awesome video Jolly. Thanks for keeping on brother!

I like that this video didn’t gloss over the trades for prospects that didn’t work out. It happens all the time. I think there were 3 deals that whole trade where the team getting the prospects paid off.

don't forget the Jays before making the trades had players that were gonna leave if they couldn't get it together and the GM basically said he was out if he couldn't bring them a world series that year. so it was a big deadline with a lot on the line for the organization

As a jays fan I hoping we can repeat the 2015 year deadline we pretty much have the same record and on the offensive standpoint evenly balanced if Toronto could get those two legitimate starters and 1 or 2 bullpen guys they can make some serious noise in the second half.

David Price's ERA was 2.30 for the jays not 3.59 over the 11 starts in the regular season, though if you add his 4 postseason games (3 starts 1 relief) his ERA jumps to 3.23 which is still a ways below 3.59

For sure one of the best trade deadlines ever for the blue jays. We picked up tulo, David price and some other pitchers who helped us get to the postseason since 1993. One of my favourite blue jay years of all time. Probably my favourite tbh (I wasn’t alive when jays won the WS back to back)

Another underrated trade not in here was the Pirates trading for J.A. Happ. Had 11 starts going 7-2 with a 1.85 ERA to end that year. Signed big money with the Jays that off-season

To add to Sam Dyson's Woes and Stupidity: - He got really salty from Bautista's Bat Flip, getting into arguments with Edwin Encarnación and Troy Tulowitzki which Emptied the Benches in that NLDS Game 5. - In 2014, while playing for the Pacific Coast League's New Orleans Zephyrs, Dyson Got into a fight with teammate Chris Hatcher that Resulted in his Jaw Being Broken. - In 2019, was accused of Domestic Violence and was SUSPENDED for the ENTIRETY of the 2021 Season as a Member of the Minnesota Twins. Honestly, His Career in the Major Leagues SHOULD BE DEAD. Bautista's Homer Against him was the Beginning of the End.

I honestly don’t understand trades like that dodgers braves Marlins one. The Marlins and Braves literally teamed up to stack up the dodgers and got nothing in return. Like the braves gave up their top prospect and some really good young players for some mediocre veterans like why would you even consider doing that. Like the dodgers got double the players that the braves and Marlins got and they got way better quality players too. It just doesn’t make sense

considering this absolutely disgusting trade seeing the Dodgers acquire both Scherzer AND trea turner, I would say the 2021 deadline has already surpassed 2015 in craziness.
