Golf has never been easy to watch in developing countries. As someone who lives in Mexico, I find it extremely easy to watch LIV through KZfaq.

Why do people hate LIV so bad? Seriously? They legit have the top players in the world. They have all the great golf personalities at the moment. Why does everyone defend the PGA Tour so much? I don’t get it. I am a fan of golf. I love golf. I have never cared about the PGA Tour, I just want to watch golf. Folks mention the history, blah blah. Well the history and matches that people care about is the majors. The majors are not the PGA Tour. Just love golf people!

I'm 63 years old and have played and watched golf for 40 plus years. I was anti Liv golf from the start. I decided to give it a chance this year and watched the first tournament in Mexico to see for myself, and to my surprize I loved it. So far from the stuffy atmosphere of the PGA tour show. I liked the relaxed atmosphere, fun music, wearing shorts like we can in real life( it is 2024), shotgun start, which shortens required viewing time, more accessible for viewing options, graphics and leaderboard info is awesome, the team setup is great, it is a game within a game. I have watched all three tournaments since and will definitely continue to do so. World rankings for sure needs to be fixed and the PGA tour will have to up their show if they hope to keep the attention of young people. Just my opinion and no one knows what I like more than me, just saying.

It was his first competitive tournament since 2012 give the guy some slack. He was world class in his early twenties

Kim deserves at least a chance to get there again. You may not like him coming back, but intrigue is why I watch LIV, not to see perfect shots over and over. Life is filled with unique events, so this was just that. LIV is different, and I like that, so give the league a break!

Guy, calling LIV a circus, AK gimmick, losing credentials, farce, hahaha. He is such a LIV hater, the PGA tour are literally getting youtubers to compete for a spot right now ffs. They're an immature tour which desperately needs eyeballs, the strength of field is still far above the DP World Tour and probably half the PGA tour events now. If the PGA tour could've got AK to accept an event invite they absolutely would've done. He should've been talking about how special it was to get the myth, AK, to play again.

Rick & Guy have something to say on LIV every week (not a bad thing), but that means what LIV are trying to achieve is working, sparking conversation. In my opinion the leaderboards on these LIV events are now better than the PGA week to week and i tune in for the names like i imagine most people do.

Sorry rick bud Jimmy Bullard is twice the golfer you are he shot a great score at ryder cup venue and shot two under around glen eagles and only lost by one shot against ewan ferguson. He also played on the challenge tour and consistently shoots under par he would wipe the floor with you. Like fat perez

Watched the LIV Jedda on Saturday, which was my first time watching LIV, and the build-up was actually really good. Having Rachel Drummond walking up the range and stopping to chat with players kind of reminded me of the paddock before an F1 race. They're not too far from having a very good product. I don't watch much live golf but I'd almost prefer the LIV set-up from an entertainment event point of view.

Why are you always so negative about LIV? Personally I think it’s better than the PGA Tour in terms of entertainment, certainly the names are bigger

AK shooting 65 on his 6th tournament is pretty impressive. He's improving way faster than anticipated. It looks like there's a fairly good chance the fairy tale story might become a reality soon. Greg Norman has more insight than most ordinary men. I'm sure he knows what he's doing and sees the potential in AK that no one sees.

A Kim comeback would be one of the greatest stories in golf if successful. We would never know if that story will come true if not for LIV giving him a chance!!! Lot of Kim haters out there!!! Rick, Guy....are you haters?

I would disagree with Guy's take on Anthony Kim. I don't remember hearing of him prior to him joining LIV, and I certainly did not tune in to see him. The only reason I watch LIV is because it is free on You tube, and I refuse to pay a subscription to other golf broadcasters.

Jimmy definitely talks a lot and is full of banter more than golf in the majority of their videos. Think he’s great for KZfaq golf. however when he’s actually being competitive against some of the pros etc he’s faced and has his head screwed on he can be a lot more serious and doesn’t mess about as much. Would be a brilliant match I think but yeh you’re right it did make you sound a little scared 😂 just get it on 🎉

you have to give AK some time it’s not a failed experiment, you need the season to jump to that conclusion, he needs to get comfortable again on that side of the ropes, build some confidence and some camaraderie to get him out of his shell again.

Just for some background.. AK had an injury and he made a claim against insurance, and was given a payout that required him to not even be allowed to swing a golf club otherwise he'd lose or have to payback the payout. That was the biggest reason for the disappearance.

I think Bully would win. He has been an athlete at an elite level and his mental strength would be the difference.

I mean this will ALL respect, but I’m starting to feel as if Tiger is a “gimmick” for the PGA. Like Guy said, many of us tune in to see what will happen, and when he doesn’t finish or shoots a bad score, we come back for his next round to see if he improves. At some point we gotta call it all golf/sport/entertainment no matter the association hosting the event.

I prefer LIV to most DP World Tour/PGA Tour events. I'm not bothered about Kim but enjoy watching Rahm, Cam Smith etc. Signature events on PGAT or Rolex on DPWT are more watchable. We need a world tour as Rory says.

Sure it's a gimmick for eyeballs. So is a PGA event holding a KZfaq golfer tournament for an exemption. Yes, they do this stuff to get viewers. They exist for entertainment and this stuff works.

I don't mind having all the different golf. I just like watching golf, especially during work days and having on in the background. If it's a close finish on Sunday, that's the most important thing for me to get hooked moreso than who is in the mix.

Where I disagree with Rick & Guy regarding AK on what he was back in the day. He had star power and a very high potential. That’s why LIV made that savvy move. I don’t agree with LIV as a product, but credit where it’s due. They’re making audacious moves, something that PGA tour are too timid to do. Which is actually where the PGA tour is going to fall down

AK shows the diffs between PGA and LIV. AK will be playing on LIV as a wildcard for the rest of the year...LIV is allowing him time to get his game back over the year...call it a rehabilitation of sorts. The guy didn't even knew what a trackman was and DJ had to explain to him...and still he carded 2 x 76's and a closing 74 not having played any competitive golf in 12 years!! And LIV are giving him time to adjust and not pushing him to the front to do interviews etc. Would the PGA have given him that...? #This is for Guy...regarding your remarks on AK and rather have him playing on a lower level to get back. What about Tiger...when was the last time he was able to even finish a golf tournament but still in 2023 he received $$$ millions in PIP money and certainly with Jay received a huge lump of cash from the SSG deal...shouldn't he go play the Korn Ferry to get his game and ability to walk back....? Good to see AK shoot well on the last day of Hong Kong. He has a set of stock clubs he bought off the website and has no idea about trackman. So, I assume there is a lot of room for improvement in there when you also throw in the likes of modern Course Management strategies like Decade.

Righto on the video stuff and talking through your shots I like it keep doing it I'm a 22 handicap and if playing well I'm lucky to hit 6-8 shots apart from putts a round that do exactly what I'm trying to do. If I'm playing bad then there could be none. On the fittings I'd like to see rick be fitted maybe only film the fittings that are big contenders for the bag. I mean if your going to get new sm10 wedges and you know they are going in the bag film the fitting. Or maybe film a fitting for driver, fairway, driving iron, irons, wedges and a putter fit.

Ak was a HUGE hyped guy by PGA players, he was not a darling amongst fans as much as the players all revered him...he was also part of a young group ....immeidate near era was Hunter Mahan, Camillo V and JB Holmes all made their masters debuts...was a load of top talent like recent years...and AK was a "super cool" guy for the crew... I still feel like LIV is not listening to fans. They are doing some innovative things, but they need to do more on the broadcast side. I'm sick of the loud music that is different on each tee. I absolutely hate the mic in the cup. Just sounds ridiculous. Sounds so much better when you hear it naturally with a mic on the side of the green. Just needs to be more polished on the broadcast after a few years. Don't really like the announcers and the way they present and word things like championships sunday etc.

You cant spin the vibe as "serious", we saw what we saw. Rick walked around like a petulant child, annoyed that he was losing to Guy, who he obviously views as an inferior golfer. We witnessed a temper tantrum. It wasn't fun to watch. Listen, Micah Morris did the same thing to Grant and was roasted for it and ultimately accepted he was mentally in a bad spot. I listened to a guy comment once about American sports having a decline in attendances and TV audiences. And he spoke of the changing landscape of the father in the home. Fathers are committed parents with so much time donated to wives and children. So they can’t donate so much time to watching some many baseball or basketball games. Hence golf. 4 days, 8 hours a day watching. What 28-40 year old man and woman have that time. With family commitments

I can’t see it in there and I’m sure having it in there for viewers to link to would really help them.

I agree with you guys they need to cut down on the amount of golf being broadcast. Way too many options…First, the PGA Tour, as the self-proclaimed best players on the planet, should be only the elevated events and the majors for a total of around 25 tournaments. The other current tour events that aren’t elevated should be relegated to being elevated Korn Ferry events. Season is 7 months (March-September) starting with the Masters (or a tourney before it), and ending with the Tour Championship. That gets you an elite tournament every other week on average…plenty of golf.

Surprised you hadn't touched on the team victory for the crushers over the weekend, after coming back from 11 strokes behind the stingers they won by 4 strokes and as a team they were -20 under on the day.
