Why is it you don’t see European dominant players like you do Americans what is it? Are they just more aggressive?

Crazy how when I was 18 I couldn't fathom doing anything but playing tour golf - once I hit about 20 I realized both that I'm not good enough, and that it was driving me insane, and I put the clubs away for a while. It did depress me for a while, but now that I'm 27 with a nice, stable job I'm like "thank god I didn't even get good enough to truly try." The road to top-level pro golf if you're not 100% sure you're good enough (and even sometimes if you are) is BRUTAL.

have a free idea lads. "Rick's Revenge", a spin off series of break 75. rick and his team find a subscriber out there (bonus points if they have been talking rubbish) and he's brought into the videos to post a score. the camera pressure. the rulings. the blow up holes. just as much as we can talk about how good tour pros really are, it's easy to forget how good youtuber golfers really are

I think if Guy is going to say that about Sandy he has to say it about Tiger as well or he’s just talking out his pipe hole.

“Best golf I’ve ever played because I went to a more forgiving iron” yeah and that’s why you’ll never make the tour cut grant, your ball striking just isn’t good enough, night and day difference between throwing a p770 in the 3 iron slot

I’ve been a huge fan of Bryson since he turned pro. An absolute trailblazer playing the game his own way and ignoring the cynics. Then really got to know him through his KZfaq channel and seems like an awesome dude. Don’t really care about the LIV stuff as long as he’s still playing majors. Just glad to see him tearing it up. Named my first son after him a couple years ago.

He’s dominant in the week PGA Tour field these days. What would happen if it was back to normal and he was playing against full fields? I know it’ll happen. The U.S. Open will happen.😏

I play a Titleist driver, but have always thought that if you release a driver every 2 years, that driver is going to be behind the competition for that second year.

Young may have hit 59 with preferred lies, but that was the same for the entire field that day and it helped him get into the top 10 for the tournament and bank over $500K. So it counts for a lot for him.

I think we have to look at what Scottie is doing, all be it good in its own right, doesn't compare to past , or Tiger. The fields are not the same, with the split of leagues and DP World Tour, you can not say he's going up against the best fields and players at top of game every week, like we saw a decade ago.

I will die on the hill that a 59 on a par 70 doesn’t “count”. I’ve always argued Bryson bangs on about his 58 way too much considering that was a 70 also. Obviously impressive, but not the same
@johnpanny869
@johnpanny869 14 сағат бұрын
Bad take. Par 70s have less scoring opportunities. Yes it’s less under par than shooting a 59 on a par 72 but it’s harder to score with less par 5’s.

Can you imagine what it would be like if one of your best friends from college did an hour-long podcast about how you having no chance to make the Open? I wonder how that would make you feel... Luckily your friends from college have more class than you and that little Guy on your podcast. Hollywood shiels

25:38 spectators would be in danger too. Also, the PGA Tour has been doing landing zones and hypothetical tracers for high handicappers but it basically only represents distance on a good shot, not duffs or tops or slices etc.

With being left handed I had a club fitting at ping at Gainsborough, after trying various clubs and shafts the best for me was my own clubs being retro lofted, hats off to ping I was looking at spending approx £1200 and walked away just £35 lighter

I'm having absolutely none of that waffle about Cam Youngs 59 "not counting".. he made that under tour conditions in a big tournament. He didn't do himself any favours either leaving it in the rough on 2/3rds of the shots...

I dont like the Rick's AI idea, the pressure is part of it. Lets see Grant Horvat play in actual pro tournament, lets see some 10 handicap play. I am sure they would settle the nerves in after 5 holes.

I actually watched the whole final round of LIV this week and enjoyed it. Probably because I like Hatton, but it was a good watch. I'm slowly getting over the LIV divide. There are some players there that I enjoy watching, even if I don't fully buy into the team event, etc. It was decent to watch.

I love and respect my Mother and Daughters. And don't view them as lesser humans or property to be done with as I please. Unlike the family that runs and funds liv golf. That's a divide that I will never get over. My mother raised me better than that.

Love the pod guys but Ricks nose whistling whilst Guy talks is most eps now and although it’s not that obvious, if your listening in headphones or when driving with windows down etc it becomes so loud and distracting 😂 can Rick lower the mic whilst guys talking 🎤 An Example is 7:20-8:00 Otherwise love the pod

The booking system in norway dont allow you to lock entire fourballs for just a twosome. So if there is a free slot in your group anyone who wants can put their name down
