Had 42 out of mine, 52v 1000w hub on the flat. Takes off like a rocket and i love it. Mate built it for me and dont cost hardly nothing to charge. Does 40 miles distance at various speeds, and use an old battery to get extra 20 miles when good battery dead. Wouldnt be without it now.😊

Awesome ! I’m just getting into e-bike conversions gone from a 350watt to 1500w on a 700cc hybrid man you notice the difference ! I get nearly 40mph but yours is insane and I’m on cheap v brakes with no shockers lol great video !!

love your builds steve but FFS ..protection dude ... ive come off a ebike at 25mph .... 5 fractured ribs and a fractured collar bone ... 6 weeks off work ..... remember kids watch your awesome content so dude ....safety man ... i wear a visor helmet ( no streaming eyes ) ... proper motorcycle jacket with built in plates ...padded cycling gloves ... thick cycling trousers and rugged trainers ....ott maybe but im 58 ....and i like being safe ...great video steve

Safety sliders are more effective than any motorcycle gear.😂 I've fallen off a couple times doing about 20-25mph and walked away each time with just a few bruises on my leg. I Just wear a cycle helmet and jogging bottoms 😂

You won't be able to actually use the gears unless you put a massive chainring on the front. I can pedal and put in my own effort as well up to 30mph but had to put a 56t chainring on.

Bro defo protection. I hit a fire engine on a 2023 pure air a year ago on 28th, Prob the 1st person to crash it properly as I only had it a month and was fresh out at the time. I'm lucky to be alive mate and that only done 15.5mph. Please bro. Protect yourself. Full facecrash helmet, you must a few by now with your motorbike and at least trainers.

Be bloody careful with the law over there mate. Police are setting up checkpoints where they are measuring the power and speed of bikes I read recently. It's because people are barreling through Amsterdam and Rotterdam on fat bikes.

I got a SYNCH super monkey 20x4 wheels coming (UK Super73 clone) / gonna fit the 1500W Kirbebike kit / got a mate that does custom batteries gonna go 52V 14s 16p 80AH. I get 30 miles from my on mode 2 20-25 MPH from my kit on my 27.5 bike with a battery 4X bigger should be 120 miles. Ordered the rear rack so i can fit a small petrol genny on the back so i can charge on the go. Inspired by some of your crazy builds

@@warlockboyburnsI've calculated my ebike to do about 350mpg equivalent and that's full throttle going 30+mph everywhere. My old legal bike used to do 40 miles out of a 36v 11.5ah battery the efficiency on that was crazy but it was also hella underpowered. Only a 10amp controller 😂.

UK e-bike law comes from EU law, so it's the same rules in Portugal e.g. 250w max output, max 25 km/h speed, must be pedal assisted. If it doesn't meet those rules then it's a motorcycle under EU law. It's probably just that they don't enforce the law in Portugal (unless you're involved in a serious accident), just like they don't enforce it here in the UK.

That e-bike is cool and fast but I guess it’s pretty heavy and not that easy to load onto a bike rack if you wanted to take it somewhere? Then again with a 50mph top speed and 100 mile range you could ride it where you like! A bit OTT on the health and safety there Dude? What’s with the helmet I thought the ‘chrome dome’ would suffice?😂

btw, did you know if you install paddle assist thing on it, if you go backwards with the paddle it also gives gas. how can i stop that from doing ? or you cant ? i should i put it on 6 then so it won't reg the magnet that fast ? it's on 12 on program 13 because i have 12 magnets in the paddle assist thingy. with the sensor. the other one did not fit, then i need a longer crank.

btw, can we put tubeless tires on these rims/wheels ? nobody talked about it yet, dont want to get a flat tire and then pull it all off again. and wy did my hub/rattleling sound make way more sound ? did you grease your hub teeths ? i never hear yours on videos. i don't like the loud ratteling sound from the hub.

I have a question, I use a wheelchair, I have a Tri-Ride T-Rocks powered assist front wheel that is epic, I can do 30mph and over 20 mile range, doubled by the extra battery I have coming. They do a system that adds 2 powered rear wheels with hub motors that connects to the Tri-Ride controller giving me 3 wheel drive for off road and hills. Could you build me a pair of wheels with hub motors that could connect to my tride, because their system costs £5000 plus battery upgrade of best part of another £1000.
