She not gon like that curly magic...lol maybe. I can't get it to work for me. Bought like 3 or 4 bottles over the years and same result. No hold and sticky...

I had sticky hair with Uncle Funky's until I was told that I was using too much of it by my hair stylist. It doesn't provide much hold though. For hold, I make a concoction of UFD + Innersense I Create Hold and Trepadora Papaya Slip. This gives me really good hold & definition for up to 5 days.

@@kang819 See that's my issue with UFD, why i gotta use 3 products to make one product work? I feel like that's doing too much and would rather use something else. and it's not like all of those products are cheap either.

@@NewWaveAfros I understand but the combo works for me the best out of the products I have tried without flakes. Uncle Funky's is a base gel that defines well but just doesn't hold the definition. I haven't tried the Kinky Curly Custard but I think it pairs with their leave-in conditioner.

Okay so listen here…. That KCCC + Jello Shot + “What The Kink” styling method (yeah, you did that… put on gel like I’m flat ironing my hair) = chefs kiss. Period. 💋🫶🏽🥹

Thank you for the Kinky Curly + Paul Mitchell combo suggestion. BOMB!! For some reason the KCKT + KCCC still gives me slight frizz but adding just a little of the paul mitchell as a topper really does give it shine and longevity.

Camille Rose Curl Love Moisture Milk + Obia Curl Custard is my favorite combo this year. Although I'm sure it would work with other leave-in's. I tried the Kinky Curly Custard under the JelloShot and there was definition but my hair looked ashy with no shine lol. Not sure why but I never really cared for the two gel combo's. Even the uncle funkys daughter curly magic + innersense hold gel that people rave about didn't do anything for me either. I either like to use a gel by itself (one product wash n go) or use a leave in under it.

I hope you did a 📷 on the wash and go you are rocking in this video. I had to do a close up. The curls look like twist. I love the hair in this video. Lol I should have watched the whole video first.

Hello! Happy new year :) I've been binge watching your videos as I just discovered you. I had one question as you seem to be different from other naturals (I'm relaxed btw). Do you leave your hair out often? I'm asking because in all your videos your hair seems to be thriving out in the open (which I really love to see, you have beautiful hair) while other naturals seem to promote protective hair style or not putting their hair out except for a few weeks per year. Thanks in advance for your answer :)

A Happy New Year to you as well. Thank you for the support of my channel! 🤗 Your observation is correct. I do typically wear my hair down. I may wear other styles that pull my hair up, but typically only if my wash and go didn’t come out well or didn’t last the week.

I think we have the same phone case! where did you get yours? Thanks for sharing! Haven't done WNGs in a bit but I think my fav wng combo might be orange marmalade and curls goddess gelle for 2022. Curls pink gel styler and curls goddess gelle was bomb but i didn't like the rinse out.

OMG, why did I try that KCKT with jell-o shot for this weeks wash n go and had to IMMEDIATELY wash that ish out after doing one section. I have never experienced such a bad hair combo reaction in my life, it was so bizarre. I have used that KCKT with tons of other products so i’m going to have blame jell-o shot.

Yes. I used the KCKT and KCCC with the Jello Shot and it felt like it tangled my hair immediately. It was almost impossible to rake through.
