i appreciate the show being on youtube rather than having to watch it on the pbs site. sometimes the pbs site is pretty slow. btw, the largest threat to us national security is not al queda, not china, not anything foreign. it is the republican party. no organization has caused more harm to america.

“Default” favors the lending institutions to which the US is indebted. Its an excellent excuse to raise rates for every loan the US and everyone in the country owes on. A windfall for the superrich. If we elected Congress via Internet voting, the grip on Congress by the two-party system would be broken, elected officials would only owe their position to the electorate, Congress would become the place George Washington envisioned, where wise counsels compromise and reach consensus.

@sheilamccrea1 this has been going on for a longtime. it just got to the point that no one could hide it anymore. every president that has been in office from the present through the last 70+ years is to blame for not getting the handle on this.
