Today we attempted Wasootch ridge, hoping we could make it to the summit but we knew there was big chances we would have to turn around where the scrambling section starts just below peak 6 (according to Alltrails). Indeed, the snow was too deep and crossing that section would have been hazardous, not to mention the risk of avalanche on last section leading to the summit. So we postponed that summit to the summer. Wasootch ridge has a lot to offer so even thought we didn't make it to the end, we had an absolute blast and those views on the ridge are so worth the slog to get up there!! Today, we had the chance to have Mark Burden joining us, Mark is an avid experienced hiker/scrambler of the Canadian Rockies as well! Thanks for the fun morning Mark and for the amazing pictures!
