Saw Watain in New Orleans with Book Of Black Earth and Ritual Killer at The Dragon's Den in '08. Watain was only a trio when they performed. It was the most evil musical experience I've seen live. 🤘🏻

Well, ignoring whatever Mordok needs to be in rehab for, I think they kept the questions simple in order not to rock any boats. When you're in a band that is openly, flamboyantly Satanic, you try to stay respectful and neutral to the audience's values. (Which is sad, because a simple "fuck the nazis" would have made the entire interview worthwhile.)

Not true. By being a satanist (at least the type of satanist Erik is) you believe in the existance of a number of gods, including the christian/jewish/muslim one, but you regard him as your enemy, a deity that needs to be destroyed, instead of denying his existance, like atheists do. Saying that believing that God exists makes you a christian is like saying that acknowledging that communists exists makes you one.

No, that's Luciferianism. Satanists do not believe in god or the devil, they view satan as a force that all humans have inside of them, and they worship the idea of free will and never having mental boundaries.

Atheistic Satanism is the dismissal of that nonsense, with an entire focus on common sense, as well as the rejection of the Christian church and abhorrence to its ignorant, bigoted doctrine.

Hell yeah ofc!!1!! I’m a Black Metalhead and I’m also a Christian. These guys may not be Christians (obviously) but it’s good to just spread a little joy. But if I’m being honest most of the Black Metal community, fans, bands, and musicians might spit and laugh at you for saying stuff like that. Be careful brotha. But yeah be the light in the darkness. If you like black metal I recommend Antestor and Horde. They are Christian themed BM and they’re really good. I’m sure Batushka counts too bc they’re orthodoxy themed. Cheers and hails 🖤🤘🏻💀
