I agree. These people are also sometimes live in decent houses or expensive houses, but they are always unwilling to pay their car tickets and/or car payments.

I have never seen where 2 ppl not in a uniform have a right to put a boot on a car like this. I would have been on the phone with the local PD to verify this is even legal.

They are bounty hunters. The courts or the bondsman sent them. They most likely have license plate readers tied to a database. The local PD would have sent a tow truck if she was on public property. In a private lot, the lot owner can have it towed if they want. She was free to call the local PD. She even refused to look at the number to call. This is 2024. She could pay her fine over the phone on a card and the boot would have been removed immediately.

The thing that gets me they are booting cars for illegal parking and unpaid tickets, well look how they have parked that big ass Escalade across three spaces. If you’re going to enforce the law don’t brake the same law because you lose credibility
