My worst experience ever was at KIA when I was departing to Dubai, the emigration and African officials for Emirates airlines are very corrupt, I paid a sum of Gh¢2000 before I was giving a board pass simply because I had a virgin passport. It's was very bad

I once paid parking fee, I made my exit and forgot I had left one passenger behind. I quickly picked up the person and I was stopped by security. I showed my ticket but still they made me pay 250gh. Bunch of thieves

It's rather unfortunate but that is the rule for most airports around the world. Once you stopped technically you broke the no stopping or picking up laws so they were right in giving you a fine. You should have gone back into the carpark to pickup your last passenger.

get the passport officials to stop preying on new visitors to Ghana; telling new visitors that Thier health documents are not up to date, and that they must pay $200.00 to address the situation. hold these officials accountable for the extortion they commit apparently without restriction. Why come to Ghana if your first experience is an act of extortion, followed by elected officials doing nothing about it, why come at all?
