In a world of noticeably more advanced tech, where the ctOS creates an electronic infrastructure, and everyone and everything is under complete surveillance at all times, I can buy that grenades are produced with chips in them for the purpose of containing serial data, keeping track of, or bench testing.

The stealth mechanics with the drone and the RC make you feel like a god toying with your enemies for afar, the driving is a lot more clean, and the map is way more refined both graphically speaking and in design.

And the story legit has some dark and emotional like Horatio's death or wrenches unmasking. You need to pay more close attention to the story.

This is one of the downsides to the internet and having very vocal people on it. You're going to get a bunch of people who start clamoring about something that is legitimately exciting but it ends up getting blown out of proportion because of rumors and speculation (some with no basis whatsoever). You have those really hardcore types who get easily excited about the littlest things and they stick to it like superglue. The "Dis game iz teh bestest! Ur al h8rs!1!!1!" crowd don't help matters since they're the most vocal about games. It's kind of like that game "telephone" where you pass a message down repeatedly and eventually the message isn't anything like what it originally was.

Joe tends to be hit and miss for me, but when he hits, he tends to knock it out of the park. Didn't care for a few points he made in the top gaming controversies of 2013 or seeing him play Smite with.....that guy. However, his movie reviews and his non-reviews are still very enjoyable. Vlogs, streaming gameplay, all that stuff. I say let the fool do what I would do if I had the tech and ability to make these videos; whatever the hell he wants. I don't like the idea of putting a shotgun to his back and saying "REVIEW THIS FOR ME NOW"!

If you cant bring any arguments why this game should get a 4 out of 10, then your opinion is invalid. Bought the game on release and completed almost 100% of it. The only thing I havent done, are the sightseeing locations. The game has never disappointed me and I can't see any reason why it should. The graphics were toned down, but on PC they are still way better than GTAV on console. Also the city has an extremely high amount of details. The story had great characters, I like Aiden a lot since he seems to also have a good side and wants to protect his family. Jordi is great and T-Bone is even more awesome aswell as the other characters. They all have a deep personality. Thanks to multiplayer and the online hacking, I had some of the most hilarious and intense multiplayer moments since years. Nothing beats the thrill when another player is searching for you and you must react within seconds so he can't target you (blackout and run away when he takes out his weapon...so freakin awesome) The missions were repetitive though and mostly the same as the side missions, but I loved hacking stuff and play with the guards. If you plan your attack carefully, then you can distract enemies in the right moment so you can take out all guards at once, I fukin loved that. See? In my opinion this game should get an 8 since I had a great time with it and I'm not the only one since this game has sold very well. Bring valid arguments why this is shit in your opinion, the we can talk

Edgard Rivas  The world is dynamic and interesting. Hacking is really fun when you can apply it to firefights, chases and stealth surgical strikes. It's even more fun at night-time when you bring blackout to the entire city and can move like a ninja or disappear like one. Action-wise this game is awesome. Story-wise, not so much. Sidestories get really repetitive and you get really easily bored with minigames or challanges. Eventually the only reason I did them was to max out Aiden. Yes, there is a skill tree. Aiden as a protagonist is not that interesting. I found out his past to be more interesting than the present. The main story turned out to be anti-climatic towards the end. Overall the game was a disappointment to me, but I had fun exploring and doing as much destruction in missions as possible.

The series just needed to get it's footing to get going. What the protagonist will be in the next one is anyone's guess. Aidan again? I agree, I'm glad I had gamefly, if I paid 60 for this shit i'd be sending a lot of angry messages to Ubisoft. The honest truth is the game isn't very fun, the main character and story and horrific and the online is plagued and i mean PLAGUED with bugs to the point it's so slow, laggy, glitchy and not very fun even if they fixed these issues. Plus they postponed it to make us think it was gonna be even better, but it's clear no care or time went into ti whatever, also convenient they postponed it the same time GTA V hit the stores.

You can't really have a blank character as a main character, though. There's a lot of MC where death and vengeance is given, but never as boring as Aiden.

Alexis Fule That's not entirely true. I personally found Adam Jensen blank and I thought he was a pretty cool guy. Some characters can be interesting for things other than personality. That includes Aiden. He's interesting because of his abilities, not his personality.

I like that, I don't think that's what was intended but it works and makes sense with the character.

Hopefully it will fix the issues with the first game, because an open world hackfest was a great idea in my mind.

Seriously, I tested it once, I just got onto a bike and started moving forward just a bit very slowly and then turned on the road far away from any pedestrians, and they all just go apeshit! It's hilarious the first few times but really annoying after that.

Adding to that when u get out of the car ur music stops, well is suppose to is a radio, but whenever u go back in to the car another soundtrack plays and not the same. They also should of sticked to radio stations like for example gta v instead of an in game all for ur phone. They need better music as well because I dislike 95% of the music in the game.

epicrainbowcat thats what I was gonna say but I was also gonna add that you use the boat to get from point a to b you don't use it in a bad ass chase or its not vital in any other way, just literally to get to a lighthouse.

Super Spike I HATED the driving dynamics. And after awhile it got a bit samey with the side missions but with some tweaking it could have been great but it's just better than average

No. Gta 5 didn't raise the bar, gta san andreas did. I still play it to this day, but i don't play gta 5 anymore. It got kinda boring actually cuz once u do everything, it isn't fun anymore

Actually the got a semi Akibahara Open World game in JP its a semi borderline Hentai game where you kill vampire but stripping them to their B-day suits and do touch, tentacles, peak at the showers or panty thief mini games. Its JP

Why the heck do people think I want hentai in this sequel? I said its an idea, but it doesn't mean I really want it to get implemented I just thought it would be pretty funny like with all the memes on the billboards. I just want the sequel to be filled with pokemon collectables (like in Stick of Truth), subtle nods towards the Gundam franchise and the Pacific Rim style minigame.

Technical Kane it’s because of the massive downgrade and them basically lying about what you could do in the game and what it would look like. It was hyped up so much as being revolutionary for the open world genre but then it just ended up being kinda average. It wasn’t a horrible game by any means just disappointing after what they showed us. Watch dogs 2 was way way better
