A Flood Watch and Wind Advisory is in place for the Piedmont Triad on Tuesday. Rounds of heavy rain and isolated severe storms are expected. Strong winds may also cause power outages during the day. Wintry mix is possible in the mountains early Tuesday where a winter weather advisory is in place. A High Wind Warning is in effect over the mountains of North Carolina and in Tennessee.
