But that's some weak ass apology & I wonder what the reaction would be if the journalist wasn't white cos everyone is busy saying "If we could forgive apartheid, we can forgive Floyd" all this forgiving if things is what got us in the mess we in, because you all forgave Zuma in 2009 now R65 million has to be spent to pay his legal fees instead of it being used for better things like education so if you don't get that continue forgiving because well, we forgave apartheid.

marcus mayisela If it had been a Black journalist the assault would probably have been more intense and initially there would have been less of an outcry. This type of behaviour has to be tackled for the sake of all South African Citizens otherwise it will progressively worsen and especially affect Black South Africans even more.

good question did donald trump apologise freely for calling africa a shithole..Did mark jooste publicly apologise for cooking the books at steinhoff since the collapse. Did tiger brands CEO apologise for the loss of victims to the disease and also the deaths that happened because of it....etc I guess not to me it shows character the fact he apologised and did not even know his there says a lot- his apology was done with no fear and no favour and if you feel he can do better then by all means why don't anyone of you guys attack a journalist and see the reaction backlash in the media or proper apology
