The word that comes to mind, listening to Matt, is integrity. The word that comes to mind when I hear Baldwin talk, is selfcenteredness.

What a thoughtful, genuine, intelligent and incredibly articulate man Matt is. My heart goes out to him and their son. May justice be served.

This senseless accident moved us all, but watching the perpetrator acting like a victim in front of the entire country aroused a feeling of anger: it is unlikely that an adult would blame everyone around him or even an inanimate object to expiate his guilt.

Matt is extremely composed in the interview. I would be in tears the whole time if I was talking about my spouse of 16yrs. I hope there is accountability for what happened to Halyna. Everyone is washing their hands and denying something went wrong when everything went wrong. The investigation will take years.

Matt was in shock.There are a lot ways we process grief. He wanted to be with the people that were that last people to see his wife alive. It makes mad that Alec turned the whole thing around as if they were the best of friends and that Matt did not blame him at all and that they were grieving together. This is just deeply sad and infuriating. This poor gentleman and his son. What a love this couple shared and it ended too soon. The son deprived forever of his mom. The person who brought live ammunition on the set is accountable. Every person who was hired to watch over and lock up the guns is responsible. Every person that held that gun on that set is responsible, the person who loaded that gun with those particular rounds is responsible and every person who held that gun on that set is responsible. Every person who passed that gun that day on the set is responsible. This is so much more than reckless and absurd. Helena’s husband is profoundly calm as he gracefully and loving answers tough questions despite the dirty hand he has been dealt with from Baldwin/some Rust crew. Helena would be so proud of him. His son will do well because of him and his love for Helena.

Some of Hoda’s questions are inappropriate. She’s trying to evoke emotions and it comes across as too prying. We don’t need to know every detail about how his son was told about his mother. That’s private and should be up to his son to say when he wants to. This man is careful and genuine. I hope they get Justice!

I am so very sorry for Mr Hutchins. Learning your spouse/life partner is deceased via phone call is a serious trauma in and of itself. One day he had his little family, the next he had to tell his son he would never see his mother again. Baldwin has done everything possible to make a hideous situation even worse. Mr. Hutchins only concern should be trying to grieve and starting to put his and Andros lives back together the best they can. Neither Matthew or his son should have to deal Baldwin’s non stop blaming, bullying and public pontificating. Instead of remaining quiet and respectful like any decent human being, the Baldwin’s have tormented Halyna’s loved ones. Every time Baldwin pulls a stunt like his “roadside press conference” or doxxing yet another widow who lost her husband in Afghanistan last September, he’s disrespecting Halyna Hutchins. I think Baldwin’s behavior since he fatally injured Halyna should be part of the D.A.’s decision in criminal charges. Baldwin’s vile behavior since killing Halyna is almost as horrifying as what he did to Halyna and her family when he shot her. Mr Hutchins seems like a lovely person. I’m so sorry for the loss of his wife and best friend. I admire him very much. Traumatically losing your spouse destroys all feelings of stability and safety. It is the loss of future hopes, dreams and plans. I don’t think anyone can begin to understand unless they have received a phone call like Mr Hutchins received. His entire world was shattered in an instant bc someone decided to point a live weapon at his wife and discharge that weapon. I’m so sorry that Baldwin has made Halyna’s death about himself publicly. My husband I reunited doing film. He followed this story because for us it was too close to home. Now my husband has passed and I’m closer to this story than I can ever have imagined. My loss was unexpected but non-violent. I can loosely imagine the pain, but not really. I’m sorry for this family’s loss.

It was so brave of husband to share. I know Hoda did the interview and she did well but it seems she has aged since Joel and her splitting up She no longer has her spark and happiness. Even her face and makeup dim - she looks pale and wrinkles popping out. Matt appeared positive and took it well on camera. It was Hoda that looked filled with sadness for him. Of course he is very sad but dealt very well on the interview.

I 100% agree. He seems like such a balanced man - gentle making sound judgement in dealing with immense grief and the loss of his wife. My thoughts are with him. He's so right -- as an attorney -- justice won't bring Halyna back; but may help keeps others safe in the future.

Alec I truly believe did not shoot her on purpose and thought the gun was empty or blanks? As Dave Hallsey handed him the gun and said cold gun? What a beautiful man. I don’t use that word very often to describe a man. And I’m not talking about his looks. I’m talking about his actions, his speech and how you can feel his heart in what he says.

As the jury is out deliberating the fate of the first person charged with responsibility of your beautiful wife’s death, please know you nor your son are forgotten. Your wife certainly isn’t. I pray that every single person who was in part responsible for your wife’s tragic and preventable death will be brought to justice and the jurors won’t be clouded by a persons fame. She deserved much better than this and she deserved to be able to go back home to her family. You and your son certainly deserved to have your wife and mother return safely home to you from that set. I was nine years old when my father was killed in a farming accident, so My heart immediately went out to your son as I heard about this on the news. Not accepting any accountability was Baldwin's greatest failing in this matter. He's the one who pulled the trigger, he's a producer - by default he should've accepted accountability for his part, no matter what else or who else contributed to the tragedy.
