Wow so you put the decoupage glue on top of the napkin piece! I always thought you had to put the glue on first and then stick the napkin on. This makes so much more sense lol

This is so very beautiful... I should grab my supplies and do some decoupage again, too. I stepped back from that more and more within the last 2 years, putting more focus on card making. In the first place due to a lack of space.

This video is wonderful. You have helped me do some very cool projects. One question though- when you cut the napkin, were you following a pattern or did you just cutout the pretty sections of the napkin? Thanks for all your videos. You’re an inspiration to all of us “wanna be DIYers”.

Where can I find this beautiful napkin and those small curved scissors. The first coat you sprayed was it a primer. Also what was the matching paint color. Just love what you did to this teapot❤️ Hope I didn’t ask to many questions. Thank you for this video.

amzn.to/36xIpMh here is where all of the supplies can be found. That spray was a metal primer. (you can type the things you''re looking for into the search. The name of the paint is Americana Chalky finish in the color Everlasting which is their color white. :)

Another beautiful job. For some reason, even though I’m a subscriber, I haven’t been getting notifications of your postings. Is gluing the napkin onto a magazine page before cutting out the design a new method? I haven’t seen it before. I know there must be a benefit or you wouldn’t have done it. Enlightenment me please. 😊❤

KZfaq can be so funny with getting notifications out. If you're on Facebook my page is Patioelf and if you click like and subscribe, FB will notify you every time I put a video out. I use the magazine pages to make it so much easier to cut out the napkin images. Thank you!

@@patioelf Another question please. I believe you normally use 170 to 200 degree oven to dry (cure) your decoupage but this time you used 275 degree. Was this temp used because your item was metal? I learn so much from you. ❤

Did I notice that you lay your napkin on dry and then mod podge over it...you did not put down any mod podge first before applying your napkin that I could see!! That's a game changer!! I just purchased a whole tea set and have been terrified to attempt it so far 😏 but I want to so bad!!

Hi Terri, yes I did apply the napkin to a dry surface. I have not had good experiences with MP since it's so thick, if you have trouble I hope you try a napkin decoupage glue. ;) I know how you feel about not wanting to mess up your project. :)
