This is why its important to pay attention to what your car is doing. If the driver would have noticed the low oil pressure light/ heard the engine starve of oil and immediately stopped the motor the engine could have been possibly saved

Smartest m135i I’ve seen 👌🏼

These N55 love seizing. More commonly due to not having baffled sumps. This one is a bit rarer with the whole oil pipe situation. Look forward to seeing the outcome.. had my N55 seize on me but decided to get a Cat B and take the engine and box and just replace rather than rebuild.

All good. One bit of advice. Try and be more organized. Get trays and labeled areas rather than things on the floor. Just makes it cleaner and perhaps customers will be happier to come

The oilpan is not fixed for tracking with the m135i, so the engine runs dry in strong corners.. They need a fixed oil pan(witch fied chambers). Oilpump maybe needs an upgrade to for tracking. That is gonna be the problem 👍 cheers, nice video's!

I am a dyier but don’t understand how when you take a whole engine apart how do you remember where every thing goes. Also it would be nice to know what this kinda repair would cost.

At this point geezer might as well use his bare hands. 🤣

What about the crank case bore walls? You may need to rebore the block and fit oversize pistons

Low miles looks like it must have been mapped pushed before oil cooling failed maybe even cause of the failure

Why did you take the torque converter out of the transmission? much easier to let it stay in transmission so you dont have to recalibrate the transmission

Bro where are u based.. ? I have a zafira gsi and it keeps going into limp mode when in boost. I get a p1106 code can u help me? Pls ive changed map sensor front and rear boost pressure sensor checked all the earth on the loom and still same issue. I put the old map sensor bk and it goes into limp mode alot less now but still does it from time to time.

It’s unusual for young men to have the knowledge how to do this level of work , I’d just replace the engine as far to much to repair and guarantee reliability!
