Watch Redfish Eat In Delacroix, Louisiana | Sight Fishing Redfish

Sight fishing redfish is a lot of fun, and arguably the best place you can do it is in Louisiana.
While Louisiana boasts many redfish hotspots, Delacroix is certainly one you will want to enjoy.
Capturing sight fishing redfish on camera is tough, but I knew where some redfish were floating and eating, so I got my best camera equipment (along with a little experience) and did my best to capture the essence of an incredible sight fishing trip.
I think I pulled it off in this video but I'll let you be the judge of that. What do you think of it? Tell us in the comments section below.

That is a badass video! What surprised me the most in it was that fact that the trolling motor didnt pick up more grass. I use a minnkota riptide terrova and i put that thing as high up as it will go and I still get all caught up in the grass. You know what might be the difference though. I bet you have a 24v motor. Mine is a 12v. I bet yours has more strength to cut the grass as compared to a 12v. Do you have a 24v or am I assuming wrong? And by the way..... Your videos have improved SOOOO MUCH! You got it goin on!

I have it trimmed pretty high. I don't think that grass is that thick, but you guys don't see every time I hand-cleared the prop. I feel the videos have improved and I'm gracious that you noticed, but I still feel there's something missing, sometime I don't know, or maybe they'd be getting more attention than what they do. Hey, welcome to Louisiana and great question. Nope, that's nowhere near Spanish Lake. I'm not really big on giving away fishing spots because that's not helpful. Those fish haven't been in that spot for over a year now anyway. But they have been in other spots. The key to finding those spots lays in interpreting the conditions and reading satellite imagery, all of which I teach inside my courses. $144/year is an awfully cheap investment to learn what you need to get straight to the fish, rather than learning things the hard way over a period of years. Have you had any issues using a freshwater trolling motor in salt water?

Hey Scott, great question. It's one I get a lot and the answer I have for it is this: Yes, of course there's corrosion, rust, etc. If you're a guy who's mechanically and electronically savvy you won't have a problem with it. But, if you need AAA to change a flat tire, or ever used a home warranty fix a broken appliance, then the Ultrex is not for you. Get a saltwater model.

What sunglass lenses do you recommend?

I'm fishing with Bajio Sunglasses, specifically the Bales Beach frame in a Trevally Lens, or Cuda Grey lens for when it's overcast. Honestly, if you get on good fish it really doesn't matter what lens you have on. That's why I'm so adamant about finding fish in the first place and that's what the majority of my courses inside LAFB Elite teach. The best lenses in the world won't do you any good if you can't find big schools of fish.

These videos are fun to make, but I am NOT a KZfaqr (never planned on that) and have been neglecting making content for LAFB Elite.
