Adding to the other comments: Stick with one video, we're grown ups and can spin through if we want, the sponsors and YT allow for it. I'm fairly sure one YT-er told us avoiding the sponsorship shows up in the YT data. So anyone who wants to support you to the max only has to let the sponsorship run, and grab a cuppa instead of watching. So keep it to the end of the vid, okay?

I spent 25 years in the distribution of luxury watches, we had our own watchmakers, working on this level and far higher. I can say it s rare for most watchmakers to actually have the technical skill to manufacture broken parts well, some can, but do not want to , not confident enough, this guy is superb.

While I enjoy viewing basic watch repair content for my growing stages of watch service, videos like this demonstrate a master watchmaker. Other videos your have on case restoration also keep bringing me back. Wonder if you do gear building and watch face making to keep these relics alive. With experience you start to see/know the function of each part and from there you work your way. Not that I personally have much experience yet. But already from watching lots of videos i get better at knowing what part belongs where. And nobody is perfect: already seen videos of pro‘s who suddenly go: oops that part should be under the other one. And have to disasemble parts again.

My dear watchmaker Real fans do not skip on videos. We are traped, amuzed with the beauty of your work. If it benefits you it benefits us. Enjoy the sponsorship as a repay for your great art craft. Do not put your heart it to it only. All blessings come from the creator of time. Be blessed. With love from Costa Rica.

A lathe restoration video would be educational and great fun to watch, so yes please! My daughter makes her own watch screws on a fine old Lorch lathe, so is fascinated with your skilled Cartier Santos restoration. ...I'm sorry to be a year late here, but we've only just discovered you...what a joy! 😊 Many blessings to you, Wendi and Billie 🌻🌻

I would love to see the lathe restoration, please. When I first started watching your channel I was perplexed that you would bother to restore some of those watches. Now, I get exited when I see some of the rubbish you are going to repair and restore to almost brand new. I'm never disappointed , it never gets old. Whatever you decide regarding sponsorship will be right for you. Cheers from Australia.

I'm watching your video. You are taking this complicated machine apart. It has a million tiny parts that look fragile and have to be reassembled correctly. Honestly, I cant imagine anyone being able to do that, or ever learning how to do it. That is astonishing.

I do very much appreciate you including the frustrations and mishaps of watchmaking in your videos. Not many would have included 'meltgate'. It gives us all hope! 😁

The most fascinating watch restoration I have seen on any YT Channel. Yes please, a video of you fixing the lathe, I'm a sucker for restoration videos. Don't judge a person sitting on the street outside Tesco, offer to get them a sandwich and a drink.

I have never had issues with sponsorship. You work incredibly hard to produce great content and certainly deserve extra $ that comes with sponsorship. I feel it the money can be used to better the channel than it’s a win win for everyone. Let’s be honest, the majority of viewers skip them anyways without a second thought. Cheers mate!

I started to say this video was some Hogwarts-level witchcraft, but it wasn’t. It was quite simply a beautifully stunning display of where craftsmanship and artistry meet up to create and inspire. Thank you for sharing your time, skill, and wisdom with us. Lathe restoration video? Absolutely! Sponsored content? Absolutely. This is your best video yet and it’s the best one I’ve seen across YT.

i don't 'skip', as someone more familiar with Whitworth spanners and removing crank sludge traps on old motorcycles I find the finesse and mechanical sympathy demonstrated here captivating, and such a chilled vibe.

Another beautiful restoration Joe. Q & A What got you started into watch making and how long have you've been at it? Yes, things are rough even across the pond in the US, but my wife of 49* years and I are struggling through it. Your videos always put a smile on my face and I watch [no pun intended] from beginning to end. Cheers from this old retired coot living the dream in Tennessee.
