I didn't become financially independent until I was in my mid 40s, in addition to owning a second house making money on a monthly basis through passive income, and I've also met some of my goals. I love this recommendations. Also, some of the non-tech that I think are positioned to go really up are Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Pool Corp, etc. It's summer anyway. I have set aside almost $200k for that. Having issues now with how to allocate capital, and to know if my projections are right based on technical observations.

My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless. I’ve only ever saved($510,000), never invested but want to start.

It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a portfolio manager and fixed income planner in the USA. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won’t simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.

This is very true! A lot of people downplay the role of a financial planner until burnt by their mistakes. After my last job layoff, I had to stay afloat, hence researched for licensed fiduciary advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge and experience. My reserve fund of $225k has yielded nearly $1.3 million after subsequent investments so far.

Thanks. I was working at UPS for 9 year and I resigned in July. I applied at Barnes & Noble today. I see a lot of potential as I don't allow work to affect my wellbeing. Most people feel like I should be a personal trainer due to my physique. I feel like have healthy habits. I have discipline and I understand how to live well below my means. I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.

True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.

If you are properly prepared and knowledgeable, every crash/collapse/inflation or recession gives an equal market opportunity. I've seen folks amass up to $800,000 throughout crises and even do it with ease in a terrible economy. Without a doubt, someone has become enormously wealthy as a result of the crash.

I'm from Clinton Township, MI and that mentality you described is still active in alot of communities. My daughter and I discuss this often. Thank you so much for sharing. Much appreciated. It moved me because everything you said is so true about parents needing to be goal oriented so their children can see all the possibilities. I don’t understand stocks & I’m not great with numbers, but I am an artist & I know deep down that that alone will take me far. I just need to know the right spots to get plugged in. Well, since COVID, it has become more difficult to create a strong financial portfolio, I advise you to create a diversification strategy. My coworker advised me to see a consultant. I did, and with the assistance of my adviser throughout this market meltdown, I really profited almost $926K. Despite the ups and downs, she employs defensive methods to safeguard my portfolio and generate gains.

@marvishaN Sure. There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But I only work with HEATHER LEE LARIONI and we have been working together for nearly four years. She has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I concentrate on. She's well-grounded and known, shouldn't be a hassle finding her page.

These are very valuable info for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.

I grew up in Mexican poverty, my parents immigrated to the US when I was 5. Grew up in a trailer full of holes, my dad became an alcoholic and I didn't have anyone to look up to. After the recession I decided I didn't want to live like my parents and I went to school full time while working 90-100 hours a week. I achieved my goal. The problem is that after chasing my goal for 10 years, now I'm having trouble figuring out what next? Last 5 years I feel empty, money has just become a thing. Built a family and they have everything I didn't and have none of the worries that I did. Although I'm grateful for that. Personally inside I feel lost. I've lost my spark as I have nothing to chase. Really needed this video. I've lost clarity. Thank you

I'm a day late to this video, but I just want to say that out of all the financial influencers you're the only one that seems genuine. My wife and I recently started a couple online businesses based on some of your models, and I was surprised with how proud it made me feel to finally take those steps. It's only been a few weeks, but I'm ready for a few years, and we're both getting a deep sense of accomplishment from what we're doing. I don't mean to get too real in a KZfaq comment, but we're struggling pretty bad, we do some crying as a couple sometimes, but you've inspired us to find hope in our own abilities and passions. Im just tired of always having the same damn problems and it's always because I dont have enough $$. I watched my mom struggle, now I'm struggling. All I know is I'm gonna make it & take care of my mom who is still struggling after busting her ass her whole life, I dont care if its the last thing I do. I been at my craft for years now, over $10,000 invested, and finally its all coming together for me. I'm tears making this comment because I KNOW i'll look back one day on this point in my life and be grateful for everything it taught me but be more thankful and grateful to be free. My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.
