Im sorry man, I've had 3 vettes and daily my 2017Z... it has as much space as sedan, it gets 27mpg hwy (yes the z06), comfortable af, you can road trip it, stealth mode is silent and open pipes sound like Jesus returning, I couldn't disagree with you more man..

Dude, you are nuts! Your back hurt? There is nothing a kid in his 20’s could do that would cause your back to hurt. The exhaust on the outside is because the muffler has a quiet mode. Quiet mode is inside pipes and the outside are in the pass thru mode. How do you not know this!?? The inside is leather and suede pillars and headliner. The silver inside is aluminum nit plastic. You have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe do a video on how your dad doesn’t know you are driving his car 🤣

Im 6'2 and daily my z06 with hour long rides on the regular and i find the car comfortable and im coming from a hellcat. Honestly the c7 is a better daily. Half the price on insurance, better mpgs, and behaves better in the rain with wet mode

I've a Z07 with competition seats, and comfort is never an issue. I can easily drive it two hours non stop without any issue, and I'm 40 years old.

YES... If I get a 2019 Corvette, I would Definitely prefer the ZR1... but not at nearly twice the cost. (The ZL1 is the Camaro... or a Corvette from Many Years ago.) But "Me Thinks thou doth protest too much"... If you want a 4600 Pound car that can carry groceries better, and is easier to get in and out of, with room to stretch out and take a nap ... buy a Charger, or an SUV... you can't put groceries in the back of a 911 nor a Lambo, either. It's a CORVETTE... NONE of them are as EASY to get in and out of as a Family Sedan... If that makes it an unsatisfying car for you... you are looking for the Wrong kind of car. You don't buy a $70,000+ 2-seater to be "Practical". I just think you are "Judging" the Z06, or Corvettes in general, by the Wrong 'set of rules'... I don't know of ANY "Sports-Car" that would meet those criteria. You don't evaluate a Race Horse by how well it can pull a wagon, or if the saddle is comfortable.

I did lots of grocery shopping in my vette....I did not fly around with my cargo net. And if you have A LOT of groceries...well there is nowhere for it to move. ALSO i fit a 12ft. folding ladder in the back for work. AND a 88 key yamaha MOX8 keyboard AND a full PA for sound gigs in the back as well.

I’m 74 years old and i can sit and drive my Stingray for hours and hours without my butt falling asleep or my back hurting. I can get in and out of the C7 easier than i can my other car, a handicap equipped van. I have absolutely no complaints with the interior or the tires, etc. If I had to come up with a complaint it would be the slow response time of the paddle shifters. I understand that problem has been totally resolved in the C8.

I have a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, A8, convertible. I would disagree on the comfort. I have the same seats and I am very comfortable in them. I'm 6'1", 218 LBS. I took it for an hour ride today (12/22/23) with no discomfort at all. I like the ZL1, but I just came out of a CTS-V for my third Corvette. I have owned a 1988 Z51, a 1991 ZR-1, and now the Z06. I'm loving the Z06. Cold air intake and throttle controller are my only mods. It's a beast! Thanks for the video!

Exhaust itself gets dirty on the outside because of the drive modes. The exhaust valves don't open till they hit four thousand r p m which you can adjust under engine managment setting .

Thinking in terms of your back problems after 30 minutes of drivng would a Grand Sport or Stingray be better? I thought these cars had some sort of adjustable suspension. Also does the Z06 have cylinder deactivation?

I just picked up a 2016 Z06 coming from a 2019 5.0. The Corvette is laggy but I love the fact that the car can stay in sport mode. Having to always set it in the Mustang really sucked

First time watching this video. Good job. I enjoyed it. I have the same car and color. 2015. Had it for a little over 5 months. Love the car. Looks and speed. Launching is a blast. Questions/comments. No heated steering. Do I have Mag Ride??? . The tach has a blue line that pops up when having fun??? I see people holding the start button until the engine starts. NOT. You didn’t. 👍

I’m confused. I’m looking to trade in my C7 Stingray for C7 ZO6. Is the ZO6 lower and have less room in the trunk than a stingray? I have no problems with my C7 Stingray. I’m not sure if this was supposed to be informative or what..

This is one strange video. I have a 2019 Z06 as a daily driver - in fact, as my only car. It's great! There are so many errors in this video. This guy 'KCars' back hurts after 30 minutes, and "he's not kidding!!" Makes you wonder what's wrong with his back?? I'm 6'3" and my back has never complained after driving the car on long trips. The one significant complaint I have with the car is tire noise, which can be bad on coarse pavement, but disappears on smooth. Don't know if KCars mentions that since I stopped watching partway through. I'll also point out that my displays aren't nearly as 'laggy' as his, which may be a function of a newer car? The reliability is excellent, tire wear not so much, but after all there are 650 lb-ft of torque twisting the driveshaft - the 335 rear tires spin easily in second gear. Mine is a manual transmission, overall mileage about 17 just driving around Tucson, running errands and waiting for the pandemic to end.

"There are only two ways to open the trunk" - then proceeds to show the third way, and apparently there is a fourth way as well. How many ways do you need to open your trunk?? Your gripes about things sliding around in your trunk are universal to any car being driven hard. I DD'd a C6 for two years, and found it to be every bit as practical as any small or mid size sedans. Other than a few scrapes on big dips and rain gutters which can almost always be driven around, the ride height was perfectly fine.

So I guess if you have groceries in the back... maybe shouldn't try pulling wheelies? I don't know about you KCars dude... that's a nice Z06 you have there, but I don't think you know what you're talking about! Just today... I bought my 2016 Z06. This is my 5th Corvette now. I traded in my 2014 C7 Stingray which was a stick. In fact, all of my previous Vettes were stick. My new Z06 is an automatic... which I'm not that happy about, but it's fully loaded... and bad ass. And after having driven it around for a couple of hours today, I can't tell you guys how happy I am that I bought this car. I am truly stunned at how much better this is than my Stingray... and I'm not just talking about the fact that there is considerable more horsepower. The overall ride quality is sssoooo much better... I don't know what to think about that. My Stingray was nice... I bought it with 17K miles on it, and I was very happy with it. But it did seem to have a slight bit of "clanky" to it... I mean like when you hit small bumps and stuff... noises and vibrations... I always thought that it should be a little better... I mean I paid 50K for it. But my Z06 is like a dream come true... feels well built, tight... rock solid and such an incredible experience to drive! I'm SO HAPPY that I bought this car!! And it's very very comfortable to drive... I could drive it for hours on end with no back problems at all... so I don't know what you're talking about. But just wanted all you guys out there to know that you should not second guess a Z06 purchase. What an awesome machine! :-)

I assume that your seats have a inflatable lumbar system. If they do, you should inflate them and that might really help with your back hurting you as that's where most of pain comes from. I had the same problem and the lumbar fix worked very well.

I stopped watching at 2:40 after about 4 mentions of not practical and low to the ground. This is a true sports car and some say supercar. It must below to the ground for handling, aerodynamics/downforce, traction and cannot be tall as a pickup truck. It is tight for keeping you in firmly and safely in the seat during high speed curves if you've never taken to a real track so ingress and egress is not that of a pickup or sedan. Trunk space is usable compared to others in its class: Audi R8, Jaguar F Type SVR, McLaren 570S, Mercedes AMG GT, Nissan GT-R, Porsche and some Lambos and Ferraris. I use a C7 Z06 Corvette cargo trunk net for carrying small items and a few groceries, costs $20 and I can cary 4 cases of water bottles or two small carry on sized suit cases. Wide tires required for traction. Challenger is not in the class of a Vette, nor Mustang. Solidness is sufficient for what it needs due to weight concerns at over 3500 lbs, not exactly a Mini Cooper. Daily commuter for me? No. Balls out weekend high speed cruiser - yes and I've shammed many Challengers, Mustang GT 500 and others from a dead stop or rolling at 60 mph.

Almost bought one of these, glad I bought my Hellcat Challenger wide body instead..

To drive it as intended, is on a track. I'm not going to the track with luggage in the back. GM does not intend for these to cool race on public highways. The seats have lumbar adjustment, also.

67 yo. I have a 2016 Shaker Challenger. Love the car, will never get rid of it. Comfort, Harmon Kardon 18 speakers. I bought a 2016 base Corvette. Fun, good looking. but after an hour on the road, my back is screaming. I roll to get out. 9 Bose speakers... inferior. My daughter drove it 30 minutes and her butt went to sleep. Had to stop and get out for a bit. Having said that, I'm looking for a Zo6 2016-2019. If I'm going to loose religion getting in and out of the car, at least I want to go fast.

As you know GM motors with fuel management for every problematic have you experienced any problems with the motor in your car I know several people that had tremendous problems with his fuel management not getting oil to the lifters

I bought my 2016 Corvette from a guy whose back hurt after driving. I have a 2016 Shaker Challenger also. It's a pain to get in and out. (69yo) Challenger and Vette ride the same. Challenger has 18 speaker Hardon Karmon. Vette 9speaker Bose. Vette has more road noise. Hence the sound is better in Challenger. Cam take 3 or 4 friends in the Challenger. If you run errands in the Vette, you'll be loosing religion after climbing in and out 5 times. I let my daughter drive the Vette, after about 20 miles she said her legs were going to sleep. I enjoy the Challenger better.

When it comes to pearl who in the hack buys the Corvette especially is 06 it expects it to be like an S UV for size and utility it's a single purpose car it's a sick sports car the best Bang for your Buck you can buy.

I got the stingray it’s lowered on stock bolts, came from a Camaro so guess I’m used to the coupe feel. This car is amazing, I can stay in this car for hours I have to get my self out of it down here in Texas, I don’t wanna beat the piss out her in the mid day , but damn she’s a mammoth I got mine procharged and 600 to the wheel and it’s my daily shi rides how you want if u wanna drive hard it does, when u get in tour mode and cruise it’s like a Cadillac maybe not exactly but it’s very plush. I got the suspension upgrade 👌

Dude, ur ragging on my dream car! LOL just messing with ya... ..Lastly, since Ive never owned a c7 I dont know how the dash should transition...it seems fine to me with a 2 sec lag..no big deal but the other c7 owners here say its definitely slow so heres my advice: since its computer controlled, try pulling off the negative battery cable and clear the ecu ..its like rebooting a computer when its acting up.. that may be all ur vette needs as far as sluggish instruments..when u pull the cable, step on the brake pedal for 30 secs to drain any juice stored in the system.. when U reconnect the battery, ur settings in the radio will be lost and back to default but it may fix things.
