Again, such a nice video dude. The setting is perfect, the ratios between 1 to 1 conversation and pc screen was good enough to get my attention. I really believe that after years of gurus telling us how to get rich, there is a massive need for a content niche just like this, where people just debunk all the bullshit, you're sort of an Anti-Guru and I love it. If you need help automating midjourney or chat gpt with python let me know, i'd be more than happy to assist someone doing such an awesome work, also being in the early days of their yt career.

Really appreciate the feedback and honestly I felt the same way. Just got tired of watching people promote things that really don’t work. I hope to find the diamond so that way at least everyone can see what really work but it will take a lot of hard work. I actually never thought about automating using python, that’s an amazing idea! I also did a bit of programming/ machine learning. Maybe I use leverage those skills too. Appreciate comment, let me know if there is anything else you want to see. My next video may have a plot twist lol

Thank you, Python is a programming language that is often used in machine learning and other data sciences but also as a general purpose language. It’s ease to read and not to difficult to learn the syntax.

Very good demonstration! Thanks for sharing this. But 4 weeks it is a very short amount of time you expected to have sales and make money. Most people are saying that after 6 months to 1 year they started making money. And also as a beginner you should upload at least the minimum of 40 Listings... You have a new subscriber to your channel. 👍

I love the concept of this video. The reality is, though, if you want to have a chance of making money on Etsy, you need a lot more than 28 listings. You also need to do product/market research before you create your designs, which it doesn't look like you did. If you really want to give it a fair test, I'd say you need to spend at least a couple hours doing market research and have at least 100 listings. You said you wanted to make sure the price wasn't an issue, but it may have been. If you price things too low, it can actually hurt your sales. People on Etsy aren't looking for the cheapest option. But like I said, I do love the concept of this video and will definitely be checking out more of your stuff. Thanks for being honest!

Thanks so much for the comment, I actually did about 20 hours of research but for one type of product. The biggest issue is that the niche is low volume. Everbee was useful for the estimates. And I think you are right about having 100 listing. For pricing I did a few tests but I wanted to make sure that whatever I was selling was around the same price as other comparable items, so not the lowest or the highest. I should have my 2 month update recorded soon.

ps i also have a digital store that one i do not currently make an income on yet, those take longer to build for income and must be careful on ads but can happen just takes far more time

it can happen, I myself do art prints but i do not do POD, but tooks me 3 months to build to a regular income nothing crazy but can happen if you do the research right on whats being bought etc

Your first mistake is not doing any research. Picking listings you like and copying them will never work. Research what people are looking for and make that. It's really simple.

@realmoneytime not quite. Research is finding what people are looking for with low competition through keywords people are searching for. No one has a reason to buy from you when you copy a design a more reputable store is already making.

You are right businesses take time. And that’s a good sign that you have people waiting for you to do art. You could use AI to speed up the process or even get inspiration but only if it’s something you want to use.

Ads aren't meant for newbies with no visibility score. Get ranked first then promote ranked listing

In order to get visibility you need sales first, can’t rank without sales. Ads help to get you your first sales which then help to get you ranksed

The comment above you is correct. You could kill your store before it even starts by running ads and people clicking on it with no buys. Getting that 1st sale organically or through a friend is key. @@realmoneytime

@@realmoneytime SEO works on Etsy by Etsy indexing your account. This takes time as well as knowing how to tag, title, describe your listing to Your Targeted Buyer Profile. That's what target marketing is. Describe your perfect customer. Do that, then use those words in your tag, title and description And Then give time for the indexing linked on the backend of Esty with the Etsy algorithm. That's right, it all works together but needs time Then at 3 months things Begin (!!) to move on Esty.

don't see the wall paper. assume we have half a billion households in the world that can afford spending money for nice images. Say ten percent happen to have an empty wall to fill, perhaps two, and don't want to hang images of their kids or pets. Makes 100 million images potential. Say 25% check etsy to fill their need. Makes 25 million images to target. Divided by perhaps 5 million wannabe-sellers on etsy. Would result in five sells per seller IF you can beat the "big players". The image you created looks pretty cool. But how many would have this in their bedroom or living room? Would you hang it, especially next to other images that are already in that room? Think, if you hit the taste and the fit of ten percent you're really great. Brings down the sales target to 0.5 items. Per shop... Maybe those "gurus" do make a million bucks on prints. But - they're usually well financed in the beginning - you never know if they just bought 5000 images themselves to make etsy believe they have "really lots of traffic" - I would do so if I had enough money... Just my two cents... But, excellent video, man - guess you're gonna make your money on KZfaq, not with printed mugs

It’s definitely a smaller market which could be part of the problem. And finding designs that people like is tough. The art also works in offices so that’s helps a bit with the market size but you are always waiting for someone who is in the process of changing which might be few. I’m going to keep testing and may even try other products too
